Why can we manage to live? Why are we the leading species? Is there another living kind of species ABOVE us? If there is, we may or may not want to find it. Whether it's kind, or cruel, this species may never be found, even if it did exist. :chicken
how can we live? Does the other living species help us? Is it right in front of us? We will never know.....
Spirits maybe? Oh god, I'm just scared now. I'm just thinking of ghosts... and Laura Barnes, and The Grudge, and oh god, I'm shaking.
If there are other superior species we have not received communications because: a) they must be really far away and it hasn't reached them b) natural interference with the radio waves we are sending out c) artificial interference d) lack of radio tech e) they might not be replying on purpose (to conduct a surprise invasion) (battleship 2012) "Intelligent life destroys itself" Many countries own Nuclear Weapons There is an arms race to develop antimatter weapons (1 gram of antimatter = 3 cities destroyed) How much longer will humanity live? Do humans have spirits? idk, I think they have souls.
Religious aspect: The only higher being would be God, whom gave humans, and only humans, souls. Therefore we have the ability to do more than, lets say, an ordinary monkey. People go to Heaven or Hell, not animals. I guess you would consider God more of a "Leading being". Personally, I don't believe there is a higher species than humans. I think the only reason we have these deep thoughts about how significant our race is because we just think too much. Why worry about something you have no control of? That's my POV on it.
If higher species even exist, then they aren't any close to our Solar System and we won't be able to reach each other any time soon. We live at the edge of this universe and it's impossible for human race to communicate with other forms of intelligent life.
There are deep parts of the sea that have yet to be explored. In these areas, there may be species that we've never seen before. The exploration of this area of the sea could lead to us finding new medicines or new diseases. It is a risk we need to take.
The only reason other animals besides us aren't as populated and/or advanced as us is that we have oppose-able thumbs. That's literally the only reason. It's been proven that humans have souls, as do all other living creatures. We cannot see them in other animals though, because their consciences aren't as experienced or advanced as our own, making theirs less prevalent. We are just like any other animal, only we bred faster and evolved faster. Millions of years of natural selection, slowly creating the ideal human. The human race was never meant to be the most intelligent species on the planet, or the most destructive. Regarding the term "leading" species, there is no single most important sentient being anywhere in the entire universe. Without plants, we would not be living right now. Plants rely on animals which produce CO2, so the plants can live. In turn, the plants exhale oxygen, so us humans ( and all other animals ) can live. We coexist with hundreds of thousands of different species on this planet. It is also entirely possible that life exists outside of this planet. That doesn't mean they're more advanced, however. It's been shown that some meteors contain glucose, which is the building block for all life, whether it be a cat, a flower, a person or a spider. If it can exist in outer space, we can only presume that ( looking at how old the universe is compared to the Earth itself ), that there are other planets containing life. Our planet is inside of the Goldilocks zone, where it is neither too hot or too cold. It's within an area in which the most common forms of life can exist, and it's where liquid water is most commonly found in solar systems. So far, we've only found one other planet inside of this zone. However, taking into consideration how massive the universe is, it'd be ridiculous to think that we are the only two.
1) We are the most intelligent creatures on this planet. That is a fact. 2) There's no evidence that people or animals have souls. That is just a part of every religion.
I never said we weren't the most intelligent, I was saying that we can't live without the help of other species. There is proof that ( at least ) humans have souls; An experiment was conducted quite some time ago where people on the verge of death were placed on scales. When they died, a minuscule amount of weight was lost. Research it if you must. Souls are a thing, regardless of religion.
