    Resigning and then reapplying isn't something to do, because it makes you look desperate, but I won't make assumptions. Though I haven't read the thread explaining why you did so, I will not go beyond saying you probably had a good reason.

    75% support for now, since I've never really seen you in-game, but that's probably due to my own absence.

    I'm not saying this applies to you, but resigning is basically saying "I don't want to do this anymore." Reapplying after shows you need or want to be back in a specific group, which could make it seem like desperation.

    She resigned due to personal issues and re-applying doesn't make it seem desperate. It makes person seem that he has too much free time and wants to spend time moderating server again and nothing else.
