no, my dad and me have shooting licenses, we go clay pigeon (sport) shooting and we have our own guns. Although, you have to go for interviews to get the gun license and all, it's very thorough. It's quite a relaxing sport for me, but some people don't like a gun going bang on their shoulder and cheek. Each to their own, I guess :p.

It's pretty f***ing hard to kill 27 people without a gun.

Guns are fine they are nothing, but a tool. The problem is the handlers of the gun. The gun by itself can't kill some one It takes a living creature to fire it. When people say that taking guns away will lower crime. No it won't it will just make criminals a bit more creative and messy with how they carry out their deeds.

Its really easy though... When guns are taken away you get creative... slipping drugs in cupkakes would kill those kids too. When you think about it you can't stop crime. Any attempt to weaken it just makes them a bit more creative.

It's a lot harder to get a bunch of kids in a school all at the same time to eat cupcakes you poisoned then to just shoot them all.

You cant just get rid of guns. Any real threat is totally fine with breaking the law. They'll keep their guns no matter what the government says.

I just seriously wanted to get this out there. I logged in mainly for this. Ffs.

It's not hard to go on a killing spree if the people are defenseless. Very many murders have occurred when the other person/people were defenseless. Of course it makes sense, criminals would pick on the defenseless. If you ever look back in time, when the Germans exterminated guns, the Jews were defenseless and were all hounded up and killed in those sick camps. They were defenseless, vulnerable. During the American Revolution, the people had guns to protect themselves. Look where we are now.

Like they say, a society that is armed and ready is a safer society than one without anything. People just should be be trained to use these devices. When the people are armed, crime has a low chance at a good strike. You may say something about our government armed forces protecting us. The thing is, they usually take action during or after the bad things at hat are going on. The police would not come on time to save the people, which means people's lives are at stake. That is why we have to be prepared to defend our selves.

I don't think even the government can take our guns away. It is planted in the U.S. Bill of Rights, our second amendment. That is something extremely hard to modify out of the constitution today.

If you have a 3D printer, and you know the mechanics of a gun, you can probably make a functional gun easily. (But then again, 3D printers are quite expensive.)

    And I forgot to mention,

I was watching a document. Something about the time when Britains government decided to take guns away. I think..

Anyways, they showed footage of just absolute chaos. There were break-ins, lootings, raids, people beating each other. But not with guns. They grabbed anything, bricks, knives, bats. It was all they had. Store owners could not do anything. People could not do anything. Only the police had guns but they were pretty much playing a useless role during the time. Literally standing there trying to get the people in control. Which did not go well.

And that is a little sterotypical of you, don't you think?

A place with more guns is safer than a place with no guns

    Oh my lord.
I'll see a dead rat on the road and cry. Any dead animal I see, I'll flood the country.

I saw this on some comedian strip, cant remember who it was but it went something like that. When it was stated like that it made a lot of sense. I own a gun but it has no bullets, I loved the dragon design on the handle so I brought it.

edit: Jim Jefferies - US Gun Control
    Warning: Mature rating. Swearing.
