Introduction~

Hey guys! And thank you for taking the time to read this, I have noticed that there are tons. =p Okay, so I am going to start with a little about myself. My name is Kelly, but normally people just call me Kora in game, so xD. I have only been a part of this community for about two months now and on the forums for an even smaller amount of time, but please do not hold that against me. I play on .Net every day and rather enjoy it as well as the people. I'm not in school and do not currently have a job, so my availability is endless.. which is why you guys see me so often =p. I know, I know. I will get a life eventually, but for now Skyblock is the way to go. And now the real fun begins~

I only speak English. I know a tad bit of Spanish, but not enough to count I think.

Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?)

I have never been banned and I sincerely plan to keep it that way. I enjoy playing on this server way too much.

Why do you think you should be a mod?

I think that I should be a Moderator because I love being a part of this community as much as I love helping people. I also believe that I have what it takes. I know that I have only been here for a short period of time, but I believe that I have become quite familiar with the ins and outs of things extremely well. With that being said, I'm sure I'll still be learning things as I go, but that's to be expected. I doubt anyone knew everything when they first started xD.

- I am extremely active on this server, and by that I mean that I pretty much live on skyblock, haha. I'm on here daily, and I plan on staying for as long as you guys' allow it.

- I am familiar with the rules, in game as well as on the forums. I have read them several times, and I try to keep them fresh on my mind. If there is anything I am not sure of, I have no issues asking another player. Questions can only get you further in life..

- I am also a very honest person, which I think is an amazing trait in general. Honesty is something that gets taken foregranted now days, which is quite sad.

- I am a fair person. If there is a situation going on, I do not jump to conclusions or take sides. I will do my very best to get to the bottom of things, and try to set things straight without either party feeling like they were messed over, or duped.

- I am very slow to anger, which seems like it would be a very helpful trait if I got the opportunity to become a Moderator. I know how to take a joke, but I also know when someone is trying to take things too far. I understand this is a community filled with many people of different ages, which include quite a bit of children.

- I enjoy helping people. Rather it be online, or in person.. I always try to do everything in my power to help others around me. On the server, I know I'm not the best at some things, but I will do everything I can and am always looking for opportunities to learn new things. I've done everything from helping some of the newer players expand, building them generators that I am decent at building or even giving out items that they could use.

- I am responsible. I will always take care of the things that need to be done rather I am told to or not. If I mess up, I will admit it and take my punishment just like everyone else.

-I consider myself mature. The reason I say it like that instead of saying that I am is simple.. I believe everyone has their own definition of maturity. With that being said, I know how to take a joke and how to make one here and there, but I also know when it is time to be serious.

-I am attentive. I believe this is a great attribute as a potential Moderator as I pay more attention to chat in game then I do anything else. I will see when someone is asking a question or for help, and will gladly do everything in my power to assist them to the best of my abilities.

-I am trustworthy. You can always count on me to be completely honest in anything I do or say.

-I am very direct. No, I do not intend to go around hurting people's feelings and all, but if I am asked a question I will answer it honestly and the best that I can. I do not get the point of beating around the bush, so if there is something I need to say, I will say it. I am really straight forward with people, and I would be rather pleased if you are with me as well.

How long can you be active on the server every day?

As stated above, I pretty much live on here. I'm normally pretty nocturnal, so I'm on more or so during the evening and into the early/late morning, which is a time frame that I've noticed there aren't many Moderators' on. I could help fix this if given the chance. I know this is normally where people would put a schedule, but I'm an open book, and almost always on here so. o.o
But here is a timeline for visual purposes of the times I will be active.~ (And for the sake of making it seem like I have some sort of life, I'll leave a few hours off the list ;c lol. ) I normally get on around 6-8 PM my time, and will be on until late morning the next day~

Sunday- 8-9 Hours
Monday-8-9 Hours
Tuesday- 8-9 Hours
Wednesday-8-9 Hours
Thursday- 8-9 Hours
Friday- 8-9 Hours
Saturday- 10+ hours

And I didn't realize how much of a life I do not have until I typed this, Gg. .-. At least you guys know I'll be active..

-I do not know all of the commands yet, but I am a quick learner and am currently being helped by a current Moderator to learn them. I think I've gotten a pretty decent amount of them in my head, and have plenty more room and will to learn.

I think I would be a wonderful Moderator because I really enjoy helping people, I have ample free time so I will almost always be here when needed (and then some), and I understand all of the responsibilities that come with it. I know that I will not just have to help handle problems in game, but on the forums as well. I truly believe that I am ready for such a commitment, and would love to prove myself to all of you.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I do not have any experience as a Moderator, but I do know what I am trying to get myself into. I understand that it takes a lot of patience and hard work and I am willing and able to give it One hundred and ten percent. I really hope you all decide to give me a chance. :] Thank you so much for taking the time to read this~

 

I have only known Kelly for such a short time, and throughout the time of knowing her, she's helped so much. She's active, she's friendly, and kind. Now I can go on and on, and on about all these things and what not, but I won't take up a whole page on this thread. You have my full support! I think you have what it takes to be a moderator, and I think this server can use you.
