Well in my opinion a complete reset would be great. What's yours, vote above or comment below.

I think a reset might be a really bad idea in alot of ways, even though I personally dont mind.
Players that have supported server by upgrading other players with irl $ would basically be left high and dry.
Would drastically decrease the urge those players would have to do further contributions.

i think it'd be better, like the amount of pump farms and dead warps is just blah

I've been playing on this server for more than 2 years and if you asked me before i would have defiantly said rollback, but at this point i think a reset would be a better solution. The economy is so unbalanced right now with all the auto farms and players with millions of dollars. It makes it harder on the new players since they don't have a chance at catching up. There will definitely be people who leave due to their items being lost and i can understand that. I think though that if a reset is handled properly .org can be saved. It has slowly died over the past 6 months or so and now its at a point that it can turn around or be lost forever. Now if a reset is what happens than i think admins and mods should really redo things on the server. Create more public events get a community again like there used to be. Skyblock is a lot of fun, but i know i stuck around for the community and it just doesn't feel the same now like it did 6 months ago. A reset would level out the playing field and give old players something new to do even if it means starting from scratch.

Agree with this. I've been playing for about 2 years now and I'm running out of things to build

For some people for eg. me that's just not fair for us because we work hard without auto farms for our cash, like how I sell brewery plugin drinks for my profits. I have put a lot of time and money into it and I don't want it all to be deleted

So most active/loyal players are thinking complete reset. Fair enough. More Opinions please.

A complete reset would be refreshing.
And plus, this might trigger org getting an update.

But I do understand how this can be worrying. Shoot, it was so abrupt.. But honestly, I think its for the best. It was too easy for people with farms to make money and too hard for new players to get into the swing of things. This will level the playing field, and I think org desperately needed this.

A reset would be better for the economy, but it could make a lot of people leave. I personally would like to have a reset.

Reset. Update the server while you're at it. If it gets updated it'll be bigger than .net in a week.

I know I will be really ticked off with losing my stuff but I think the reset would help. It means that warp names we wanted that were taken we can have and also my island is crap. I think a reset would help. If I want to earn money I will just wait for Jeff00017 to build a pumpkin farm again :). And if someone updated skyblock.org to 1.8 then it would probably bring in some new players and the server might become very popular one day :). I would lose the 100k worth of items I have bought but it will be worth it because then I can just earn more money :). But people might quit due to losing stuff :(. We would probably get new players because if we get a reset AND update to 1.8 then we will probably have LOTS of players on every day. I understand this is ment to be SKYBLOCK but maybe they could update the spleef arena so it is less laggy. And also if EVERYONE is in 1.8 then they can all be able to see each other.
And if they update the server then maybe they could add the mob arena onto skyblock.org.

If they do update the server in order to reset, it would be nice to move org to a whitelist server imo.

Doubt I will be doing the same settup next go around, did what I did in order to compete, wouldn't need to do that this time around tbh.

Whitelist keeps people from logging on to server unless they apply to be members.
