A bit about me!
Hey Guys, I'm Nick, also known as Shadoe. I have been playing skyblock since 2012/13 and I love the server. I have also had my forums account since the end of 2013.
As the skyblock community has helped me throughout the years I have been playing, I would like to give something back to them in return and help them and to thank them.

I currently speak English, which is my main language, and I am learning French, which would be my second language of choice.
I also speak quite a little bit of Spanish and German as I am learning it.

Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?)
I have been banned from .NET in the past for griefing. I was banned by Taylor1211 but didn't create an appeal. This is because I created a forums account to appeal but didn't know where too because I was new to the forums. Since then I have learnt from my mistakes and have not been banned since. This ban had taken place about a year and a half ago when I was a greenie.

Why do you think you should be a mod?
I think I should be a mod because, I am very kind and I am always willing to help out with anything. Even if I have limited time, I will try to come on and help players break things on their island, (e.g Lockettes) or help out in chat with their questions.
I have seen many moderators in the past and present, and I aspire to become like them and to help other players.
I will only ban players if necessary and the player shall have a fair punishment of my judgement. I shall not be biased on their rank and shall focus on what kind of threat they had done to another player for example a high threat (griefing) or a low threat (spamming banner shops (in game things not advertising)).

I usually respond to questions in the chat sometimes replying the answer or /msg them it so then it is easier for players to know what it is. I use /msg quite a lot, and when I am not doing something important, I offer help in the chat and then /tpa to see what their problem is or /msg them to tell them an answer to a question they want to ask. It is good for me because I can execute the number of questions all at once so it is easier for the players and the whole community for what they want/need to know. I also know the illegal items and trades 'off the top of my head' as I have learned. e.g. Dirt, Bucket, Sand etc.

I love seeing skyblock expand and getting more players in saying 'how do I start a new island' because that's what staff are for! I see many questions in the chat and I try to answer as many of them at a time. As I live in a different timezone than many others, I usually come on when there are not many mods or no mods at all are on. By myself I try to sort out situations and provide help to others. For example there are usually many advertisers advertising servers in chat but there are no mods on. After a while a mod comes on and just bans the player and leaves again (or goes AFK). I would always stay on and try to rarely go AFK like a few mods at the moment.

I will stick to the strict rules and will never break them under any circumstances. I am very active on the server and try building helpful things for other unexperienced players, like a cobblestone generator, supplies for all that they need so they don't get banned. I am quite fast to responding to messages to other players if they need help and I am quite fast at typing and replying to messages that fly in from other players on the server (If I'm not AFK).

If I become a mod, I will be responsible for my duty and what I need to do to help other players and the server. I have helped many beginners at skyblock and I am a very experienced player. I want to encourage people to stay and know that they are in a friendly commune. I have made friends with many Moderators and others and I think I should try to help others out even more that I am doing now.

I love to help out in chat with questions and tips about the server. I also love to help players to tell them how to get started or how to restart a new island. I build and chat most of the time when I'm online but when I feel I cannot build anything else, I try to look out for questions in chat and try to answer them. I love helping out and I would love helping out players even more if I could use commands for people who are having issues or others who are causing a disruption in chat instead of people telling them to do /ignore which can sometimes cause spam by itself.

Usually, if I don't have my laptop with me or I can't use it. I go on minechat and help out with questions or to see if help is needed in chat, e.g Advertising, Spamming. I have Minechat so it is easy for me to come on the server and to help in chat! I also have teamspeak, I don't usually speak but listen to people chatting. In future I do plan to use this more often.

Here are some of my Qualifications!

Active:
I am active on skyblock.net and I am answering questions for beginners on skyblock. I use most of my time helping and thinking of different ideas to make the server better and suggesting them here on the forums. I will come on sometimes when there are no Mods, or not many Skygods or Donors to help players with questions, bans, kicks and mutes.

Helpful:
I am helpful and always think of new ways to help other skyblockers if they have any problems I will help and answer their questions quickly without a fuss. I also send messages to other players quickly meaning the more the players ask me questions, the more questions that can come in to be answered.

Willing:
I am willing to help other players, other Mods, Skygods and Donors with any problems that they have and need a mod to help out on. I will also be willing to help out with Cyp or NoobCrew if they need me for something.

Banning:
I will only ban if necessary and not ban even if they're friend or foe. I will respect my power to ban and will do it for other players if somone is causing trouble to others. I will treat everyone fairly and show respect.

Responsible:
I will be responsible for my duty and will respect others like they respect me and remember that Mods can see anything people do and I will try to always help out with players and even look out for them (e.g if they're going into an illegal trade.)

Dedicated:
I am dedicated fully to the server and to helping out other people. I prioritise people first all the time.

Friendly:
On the server I have made loads of friends from my timezone, and others! I love making new friends and also try to help them, and everyone else on the server!

Not Biased:
I am not biased to people with ranks, or a player with a green name in chat. I will try to help people who ask in the main global chat or help people /msging me. I will reply and help them with their questions or thing on their island.

Respectful:
I am very respectful to other players on Skyblock and try to always help them out. I do not swear in chat and do not swear on the forums. I will respect my rank and will not disregard it. I will be respectful to it for an opportunity to become a moderator on a large well-known server played from all around the world.

Mature:
I am a very mature person, people might not think so of because my age, but I am kind, respectful, honest, and all the things above proving maturity. I know what is right or wrong to do, and do not use bad language or abusive language towards other people or players.

Happy:
As I am in the server I am always cheerful to other players and always try to say hi or help people who message me without a doubt. I am always happy and I always show my emotions positively to other players.

How long can you be active on the server every day?
2 hr 30+ mins each day. On Saturday's Most of the day, and maybe longer. When I come on, I always try to help players.

I have School from 7am-3pm on Monday-Friday and I have activities before the times below. I can play in between these times. (GMT)
Monday: 6:00pm-9:00pm
Tuesday: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Wednesday: 6:00pm-8:30pm
Thursday: 6:00pm-9:00pm
Friday: 7:45pm-12:00am (00:00am)
Saturday: 2:00pm-12:00am (00:00am)
Sunday: 11:00am-8:30pm

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
I have run my own server as owner (It wasn't a big server) with a couple of friends (about 20-30), and I have helped out with a friends server and I am farmilliar with /ban, /tpa, /tpahere, /kick, /mute.
Apart from that, I have not moderated on any other servers.
I realize that being a Moderator on servers is a very important job, and I will try my best to become like the Mods.

Eh, 10% support! I don't see you much on the forums and online. Also, I feel like its too long. I would never EVER read something that long. I'm looking for a mod that is straight-forward, like for example, Purplevillager1!

 

Although quality is more than quantity, the length of his application should not really be included as a negative factor. It shows he has put forth the effort to make this application in detail .

 

I'm just saying that I really don't think anyone wants to read something SO long! No hate!

Hi I am izzy4592 First of all great mod app you bolded out your titles and used colour. However I am quite surprised as I am in the same time zone as you I never see you online. Besides that I think you should maybe post a bit more on suggestions and try to help out a little more on skyblock. Anyways great mod app detailed and pretty straight forward. 80% support.
