Update the server to 1.8.3 (or explain the delays please)

    This almost seems like a trolling thread but I would like to see the server upgraded to 1.8.3 so I can change my name safely and enjoy slime blocks.

    I attempted to inquire about the status on the original thread that is pinned to the announcement page but it is locked

    Slime blocks are ok, mainly to the delight of redstoners, but i am much more looking forward to a bunny army :D

    I am looking forward to so many things. After playing on 1.8 it's hard to go back to 1.7. It is similar to playing 1.7 and going back to 1.6. All of the dyed glass and panes and clay are gone, I think some flowers are gone, and other things. You can't stop thinking about what you are missing

    I can quite easily move back and forth. i dislike most of the new blocks in 1.8 anyway. Most are not needed i feel. 1.7 back to 1.6 is way more difficult because dem flowers :O
    so nah not similar feeling for me

    Best thing ever for people with perms in 1.8.... just saying:

    Tab ↹-completing coordinate arguments will now fill in the coordinates of the block currently being looked at

    I look forward to the creativity of banners and doors, the beauty of sea lanterns, and of course, rabbit stew :p

    Armor stands should be cool. Granite looks nice so I might be building with that

    Correct me if I'm wrong but I think admin is waiting for all of the plugins to be updated to 1.8.
