I dont know if this should be a suggestion or in discussion but it has really been bothering me and a few other .org players that Cyp and Noob have 'favourites'. This is extremly annoying for a number of reasons: 1.) cyp completly ignores everyone except from his favs 2.) noob is only ever on .net 3.) there is no admin support on .org and thats why it is dying 4.) Donor transfers. This had annoyed me terribly due to cyp doing ry's (no offence to ry or anything) donor transfer but completly ignored mine on server different occasions. 5.) Newer joined players have more of a chance of getting mod than someone whos played it for 2 years. This is extremly annoying to me and many other players have played a few months or so after the server came out. Feel free to comment what you think about this topic
Im only going to comment on a few Just because you have been here for 2 years doesnt make you capable or right for mod. In fact if a person is ready is solely on the individual and how they behave. You dont get mod for being around for a long time. There is no correlation between how long you have been on the server and the chance of becoming mod. Its how you act and what you do If you are annoyed then what have you done to fix it? Because if you did apply, you needed to put in the time and effort, not be an old player. Org has admin support, but the admin is busy so it is not getting as much attention. There are things you don't see and what cyp does for these servers is amazing, even if some things are not done. They eventually do get done, but it takes time. One admin, hundreds of players on this server alone, plus all the other servers cyp is admin on... crew is the same. Crew is a behind the scenes guy, and yes org is not getting attention but it will eventually. If cyp has faves, thats his business, but I have rarely seen him turn down anyone because he doesnt talk to them personally or like them. He is still fair. Thats just my 2 cents. Anyone can hate me for this but I see no problems except the amount of donor issues needing sorting.
So if you were choosing staff for a server you would rather go for people who dont know the server at all but act the most maturest?
Im not having a go at cyp, I know he is a busy person but last time I saw him online he had enough time to add the brewery plugin and yet not do anything else.
Thats black and white. There are many more factors to consider when choosing staff. You want people who can do the job, and if thats a newer player, so be it And maintain it might i add. Pretty sure that was to make org more enjoyable to attract people
And yet org is never mentioned on these forums lately cuz its all about .net like the update to net into 1.8 which still hasnt been completed. EDIT: It was over a month ago.
That surprising? Net is the bigger server. Of course its about the update. Org will get its mention in due time. Yes its slow, but yes it will get done.
Like the adminshop getting 1.7 flowers etc only a couple of months ago. When .net had them for agers along with other things and nothing is being done about how small .org is anways so .net will always be first I guess. It took over 6 months for .org to get the ability to have horses spawned in by spawners and net had them nearly instantly, only a month or two after mc had them added.
We dont have horse spawners. Just the eggs put in the villagers not long ago. I have no more comments. I stick by what i said above.
1. What.. ok. 2. Don't know what to answer to this. 3. I log into .org every now and then and do stuff.. sorry do you want me to screenshare next time I do something? 4. I believe Ry donor transfer was from Hellblock.. 5. Just because you played the server for 2 years doesn't guarantee you'll get the moderator position. 6. Locking this thread.
