What he can do is sit there and record/take screenshots, and the player will be banned and you will be refunded. There is no point to this thread. If you are present during a grief, get evidence don't be stupid and just try to kill the player.

Screenshots should be sufficient. Frequently take screenshots of your stuff and take screenshots of the griefer griefing and/or the damage that was and and what was griefed. Show before and after photos in the report. That's all you need.

This is where we see the struggle of whether or not its acceptable to protect yourself or sit back and watch the destruction of your island.
Its easy to say call a mod... wait for a mod. But guess what? is there going to be a mod? no. How long will their be no mod? long enough for a griefer to wreck an island. What about if they log out before you get time to even screenshot and react?

No logs? well just your luck you now have a possible problem with log out griefs.

Now see where this is going? I myself would love to have the right to kill a griefer who is griefing me and will not sit back and take screenshots just to have them log out on my island. I mean sure I am a mod so i can get them away from my island fast, but everyone else cannot and as said before, no mod on a lot of the time.

Screenshots are not enough to recover all damages, you should screenshot before anything happens and a lot of people dont.

You do not realise how scary it is to watch someone destroy an island. If you have seen it, if you have been griefed so badly watching it happen then you will not know how much of trouble it can save to have the right to kill people who grief.

The only thing i will point out is people using self defense as an excuse to kill players on their islands for various reasons such as scamming. So the rule has to still remain that its illegal to kill players. So basically im saying 50% support.

Yeah I know that. I'm saying record the griefer, or take as many screenshots as you can while it's happening. Killing them won't help you get a refund
