It was working fine before the factory reset, the only thing I did was put my laptop in developer mode, I don't see why this should make a difference, same browser, same everything

Try reinstalling Chrome, or taking it out of developer mode.

    Didn't work
I kinda need it in developer mode as of now, I don't think developer mode should make a difference

Only other thing I can think of, is use another browser for the forums, like Safari or Firefox.

If you have a Mac, then you have safari automatically. If you have windows, then you have internet explorer. A phone, anything?
Just type Firefox, click the first link, and click the big download button.

EDIT: nvm I see you have chrome os.

If I were to do that, I'd have to install a new operating system and then download it through there and yadayadayada, and since this is a school chromebook, I could get in trouble if I were to install a new operating system cauz the district is like no and the school is like ok, no

Well you would be testing if you could see the Inbox and Alerts tab. It could always be your resolution (screen size) or possibly, your account has inbox and alerts disabled by an admin (there is always posibilites)

I am the admin of my computer, the way I have it set up.. Unless you're talking about admin as in Cyp or something?
I have changed it to every possible resolution and it didn't make a difference

Yes I mean an admin of the forums could have disabled certain things on your account. When did this start happening?
