Well, I cant connect to some servers. I've tried to use my hacked client, huzini (which I dont normally use) and even vanilla 1.7.5, 1.7.9, 1.7.10, 1.8 and the new 1.8.1 and none of them work. PM me on forums to see what it looks like. (It has servers youre not supposed to mention)
When its on the list where I choose, the servers I cant connect to are saying Pinging... and when I hover over the x in the corner it says No connection. When I connect it gets stuck on the Logging in screen and when its done it says Failed to connect to server:Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.timeout.ReadTimeoutException
Does this happen to all servers or just NET? Does your internet work ie, are you able to access webpages etc? Does vanilla minecraft work? Did you recently make any changes to the computer like installing firewalls or anti virus programs etc?
That's what I would try, male sure to copy the saves folder to keep a copy of your single player worlds, then delete the entire .minecraft folder
Sounds like an internet problem more than anything, does the servers work when you're connected to an internet outside your home? EG library, school or when tethered to phone/tablet?
A VPN should work, since the objective is to test if your ISP is having trouble routing traffic through to the affected servers. However it isn't as fool proof as a using a completely different connection
If you need a suggestion for a VPN, use kepard, it automatically adds it in settings, all you have to do is just enable it from the program, should be good to go, let us know if this worked
Well... None of the VPNs Ive tried are working. I guess I'll never get to play that minigame server. /cri x 99999999999999999999999
