If I were to swear in my status, it would bleep it out on my profile page and my profile box(get to this by clicking a user's name or profile picture)

This is a good thing for any swear words used in statuses, although a couple of them still need to be bleeped as you can see above.
The only problem is when you are viewing the portal index, in the section that shows recent status updates, it doesn't bleep anything out.

I believe this should be fixed seeing as we have a large amount of younger users on the forums. Also, if someone were browsing forums and came across ours, they would start at the portal index and see swearing that is unbleeped and might ruin the servers reputation, not a lot, but none the less it will ruin it a little bit. I don't believe people would think badly if these inappropriate words were bleeped out.

I think people have the right to swear if they want to, but I don't think people should take advantage of the fact they can swear and swear in every status they make. And I'm not making this suggestion to say don't swear, because that'd be hypocritical of myself seeing as I swear. It's whether or not profanity is bleeped out

I agree, but it's just a small thing that could be changed, and just because they have to learn them at some point, doesn't mean they have to learn them here.
