My Moderator Application! Hello, and thank for taking time to read my moderator application. I will tell you why I believe I should become a moderator because of my qualities and benefits to the game, but after all everyone has different opinions. I love all feedback, friendly criticism or support! But before I start here are some things about me, I'm 15 years old and from Wayland, MA, USA! Your in-game name: KCW28 Which timezone are you in? I am in EST (Eastern Time) GMT - 5 hours! Which languages do you speak? English - I have grown up speaking English and am completely fluent in this language! Spanish - From when I was 5 year old I have gotten many private Spanish tutors, know I am almost 100% fluent in Spanish and am complete comfortable speaking and understanding it. French - I started taking French in 6th grade when a language is required. My parent's did not let me take Spanish in school because they wanted me to excel in many languages. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) Sadly I have been banned, this was before I read the rules and I thought griefing was okay. I posted my application and it was accepted, I have learned from my mistakes and have read the rules multiple times. Why do you think you should be a mod? I think I should be a mod because i'm very kind, and love to help out everyone. I will strictly enforce the rules but also be forgiving for people in times of need. I also believe I should be a mod because I correct my mistakes. If I mess up I will try again and fix whatever I did wrong! I also am very respectful to players no matter what situation there are in or what rank they are. I respect everyone's opinion and ideas. I respect criticism as it will help improve my chances of learning new things and even becoming a moderator. Showing respect is one of the most important qualities a moderator needs to have. I often advertise the rules on chat, and enforce them as well as follow them. If I were a mod, I would devote more time simply helping people out. I have been on this server for about a year and a half now, and I have really come to love playing it. Even if I don't become a mod, I will still love this server and it won't change that. I know that there aren't many openings, and I am unlikely to get the job as important as a Moderator. But, at least I can try and see what people think. I wouldn't judge someone just because they disliked my mod app, I would thank them. QUALIFICATIONS COMMANDS: I know the basics of being a Moderator because of past experience on another server, (Info found below). I am very honest, if I do something wrong I will always be honest and report to another mod of some sort. MATURE: I am also very mature, I can take a quick joke and /msg one in return but I know when a joke is meant to be hurtful and cruel and will MSG that person to tell them that, that was not okay. FORUMS: If I am on the server (skyblock.net) then I am on forums, I always have forums open and am always switching back between the two, (If i'm on forums I will always do /afk before I go). I will help with every appeal and tag other Moderators when needed. FAST TYPER/GOOD GRAMMAR: I am an excellent typer, when I was younger my mom made me take typing lesson with a teacher. I can type at a speed of 120 WPM with no grammar or alphabetic mistakes. CHAT: If I am not AFK you can probably find me staring at the chat. I answer questions, help out, tell people what trades are illegal, etc. Often times I send out messages like "Is there anyone that needs any help? MSG me!" How long can you be active on the server every day? Monday: 4P.M. to around 9 P.M. (5-6 Hours) Tuesday - 3P.M to around 11 P.M (7-8 Hours) Wednesday - 8P.M to around 11P.M (2-3 Hours, I have Soccer Training) Thursday - 6P.M. to around 12 P.M (5-6 Hours) Friday - 3P.M. to around 11 P.M (8-9 Hours) Saturday - 10A.M to 12 P.M. (14 Hours) Sunday - 10A.M to 12 P.M. (14 Hours) Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I actually do have a lot of experience being a moderator! I used to be a Moderator on a popular server, on this server I was a builder, I built a lot of /warps and spent a lot of time there. Eventually I resigned because people were commenting how inactive I was because I was spending a ton of more time here on Skyblock.net. I'll give you some feedback You have a fairly good application, still needs more detail in parts, but pretty good for the most of it. ~We happen to be in 1 hour different time zones, and I have never seen you online in-game. If you see me on sometime feel free to /msg me. ~You just became a forums member on Monday, meaning you are new to this community. ~I can't give you support for now, since I've never actually talked to you. Good luck, though! P.S - There isn't a /afk command in-game for anyone besides mods. And add a bit more detail on the "Why do you think you should become a moderator" section. ~Also, be more pacient. (idk if I spelled that right) Getting comments on mod applications takes time. Don't expect a comment every hour. You just posted this today. Give it time.
^ patient* Anyways, hello KCW. This is a good application overall, you just need more detail and you need to be a bit more active on forums and such. I don't know you too well to be able to critique you..but you've got a good start. Half- support!
