Someone named neonlily is in my coop. I wanted to see when she was last logged in, so I pressed: /seen neonlily It says: Error: Player not found I quadruple checked myself. I pressed /coop to make sure I spelled it correctly. I did a /seen for another coop member and it worked, so /seen isn't broken. How can this be?
Well, Cyp reset some of the server commands and nicks etc... Anyways, if she has not logged on since cup did the changes, it was like she was never on. A lot of the player files are reset including Ban meegages, /seen, your nick if you have one would have been reset too
That makes sense. She logs in only on weekends, so maybe that's why she was affected and not other players who log in more often. I did a /seen on myself and it worked. Interesting.
If the user(s) haven't logged in since everything got reset, you will not get logs of them ever joining the server.
It is definitely, 100% because of the fact cyp reset those commands, thus you will notice that: Players who have not logged in since he did this will not be in /seen and your ignore list, everyone you ignored before, are now unignored. So do not worry, when she logs in she will then be in /seen.
Quick note to inform some people: The UUID files which were being stored in Essentials were deleted; commands weren't "reset". The UUID files in Essentials store your last location, how many homes you have and where they are located, whether you use alternative accounts you use and what those are called, the last time you were to be seen on the server (connected to the server), if you had god - mode or fly-mode enabled, etc., etc. So whenever you file is deleted, half of your server existence is deleted. Not a big deal, because your inventories and chest - contents are stored in the global UUID files and region files. It does mean, however, that your safe-login permission is relatively useless when you join, because of the deletion of your file, which stored that you were either flying, in god-mode, or in any gamemode other than survival. Which, in turn, means you were most likely to drop like a brick when flying, burn to a crisp when in lava upon logging in, and generally die if your reflexes are not fast enough to respond adequately by issuing the correct command to safely teleport home and stay alive. Just felt like sharing this. I do hope this helps you understand a little more on how plugins (Essentials in this case) work.
lol we say commands because we have no idea how to explain it properly, but yes... what pittipla said. You know what happened as a result
