Well, about 7 months ago, I stopped playing skyblock due to getting a new laptop and just stopped playing minecraft, then about a week ago, I decided to go on minecraft and remembered about Skyblock, so I went on it and done /home witch put me onto a new island, so I contacted a moderator (Cant remember name) and they helped me get to my old island and gave me advice to sleep in a bed, do /homes to get back to my bed point, and to screenshot the cords, so last night I was playing but I had to go out, so I done /homes and left the server, today I went back onto skyblock.net and died from falling into the void (had god dia pick on me) so I re-spawned at Spawn, so I did /homes and it kept putting me at spawn, so i contacted Ender (Moderator) and they put me at my old islands cords, and it was a new island and my one was gone, so I contacted Ender again and they said that i have no server logs, so I told them about how I replaced about 3 thousand cobblestone blocks with stone bricks and how its impossible for me to have no logs, but Ender then wouldn't reply, so I started thinking of what important things I had lost in case a moderator or admin could help me out with getting a years worth of items back - 1 Diamond, 7 Iron, 4 stacks of redstone block, 6 stacks of stone brick, 1 god dia pick, 15 dia picks, full chain armour, 4 spawner's (1 pig, 1 chicken and 2 skeleton), 19 grass, 8 buckets, 20 obsidian and 1 stack of god cobblestone Thanks for reading.
Alright, so what it looks like happened... when you were gone for so long the system seemed to have abandoned your island for whatever reason. When you can't get to your island by using /home, it means that you no longer have claim to your island. So you used /homes to get your island, but your island had no owner. So when a new player joined the server, the server considered your island ownerless or abandoned and replaced with this new player's, new island. Now, when an island is replaced with the /newisland command, it permanently deletes any files related to the old island. So there won't be any logs of anything you ever did there, because they've already been deleted, unfortunately. Also, this island space now belongs to another player, as their new island has spawned there. As for refunds, we don't usually refund without logs or screenshots at least, but I'll leave it for Net mods to make that final call. Sorry about what happened, but the best choice at this point might be to restart. There's a lot of kind players on skyblock, and you may be offered some help when people see this. To my knowledge, you cannot be refunded by mods unless you have screenshots of the items you lost. If you do have proof of what you lost, please could you post it here. Otherwise, I have many of the items you have lost, message me on the forums to arrange a time, i can give you some of the items you lost if mods cannot refund you. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do for the island, but you probably figured that out.
I think I'll let you keep your items and start a fresh and maybe invite some of my friends to join me and help, but thanks for the help and kindness of offering to help with my item loss, its much appreciated
I've found out that my screenshots were in my .minecraft (I've never used .minecraft files and googled it), I've got some of the items there, what do i do with the screenshot?
Feel free to attach them here using the upload a file feature, or post them to an image upload site and link it.
I could still leave them, but it wont effect me now, I've found a new sky partner and we started a new island. Thanks for all the information and help though
I was going to refund the items into a chest that you placed at those coordinates, but if you're happy then all's good ^^
