Skyblock used to be about labor working hard, making friends, trading and all of the other nice things that people did. The greenies are the life of the Eco. They keep this economy running they are special. Now the traditions listed above are still carried out, but not by donors, but by greenies. Now some donors may, but they are few in number. Now skyblock is like The Kardashians game. Make friends, buy stuff, talk, and other junk. I wish, I just wish, skyblock was that same server it was a year and a half ago, or even longer before that. And to you who care, I'm gone because I dont like the new skyblock.
I mean I'm pretty sure skyblock hasn't really changed that much server wise, except for a few little cool additions. It's what you make of it. If you don't like it, then that's unfortunate. But I'm sure that the other thousands of people that enjoy this server wouldn't like to hear negative things to ruin their time here.
I love that kardashian game analogy. I do have to say that I kinda agree with you when you say that some people play skyblock differently but I just choose to carry on doing it the way I like. I guess my advice to anyone who doesn't like the new skyblock vibe is that you don't have to let it affect you
Like Supapah said, the poll doesn't make any sense XD But a few things have changed a lot in the past few months from what I have seen: More donors - before the EULA scare, there were few donors online at a time, the chat would be mostly green. Now that many people have donated after thinking we couldn't donate after August 1st, the chat is much more colourful. I don't know why, but I quite enjoyed the fact that I was one of the few donors online. It made me feel a little special. Now there are so many donors online at one time, it's not a bad thing, I mean they did donate to keep the server running... But I don't know why I don't like it. Source blocks - there's been some confusion on the source block issue. There have been players that have actually quit because they lost their rare. /warp donor villagers - With quartz, horse eggs and emeralds added, the price of those items have gone down. People that have invested in them have not liked the fact that the price has gone down. No more /ma j - /ma j was the one thing that kept me playing skyblock as a donor10. There have of course been some other changes. The ones that I have listed above are ones that I don't like in my opinion. The changes that are happening are making more and more players to go inactive. But I guess that the mentality of skyblock has changed the most instead of the actual server
There are a lot of old members that I miss (especially Lucario) and I can't really seem to fit in with these new people. So yeah, I miss the old Skyblock.
Depends when you came in. You can only really say that you miss the "old" skyblock if you were there. Basically there is no such thing as old or new skyblock. The server will change. That happens. But it's what you get out of it that changes. If your attitude becomes "I miss the old skyblock the new ones sucks" you will miss all the good things the change has brought and you won't be able to go forward. People come and go. But the more you come on and talk, the more you may find people to talk to and even be friends with them. It's not the server, it's not the players, it's your own self that is responsible for what you get out of the server.

Like Krissy said, there is no "old skyblock" and "new skyblock". The server, like anything, is an ever changing fluid journey. Also, Cyp basically shut this down xD
This is just my opinion. Skyblock is not same as it used to be. We used to have a dev and 4 Admins now only 1 Admin and the owner and they focus most of there time and effort towards Mineverse, and so they should Mineverse is the bigger server of the 2 and provides more revenue. In the last 6 months they has not been many if any improvements to .net (A few on org tho I think). We also used to have many Smods now the majority of Mods only are Tmods with a few mods and a Smod here and there. And for ur question I like the Old Skyblock Defiantly.
