A little bit about myself: I grew up in a city near paris, around the age of three my family was forced to move to the United States in order for my dad to keep his employment. Following this, we were asked to move specifically to St. Petersburg, Florida. Since I was 3, I didn't have much to worry about (making friends, blending in, etc.). However as my age grew, I began to worry about making friends. This is still a problem I have to this day, I underestimate my ability of making friends, this causes me to put my self in a total unnecessary panic. After living around the beach for 8 years, my dads job required us to move once again, this time to nice warm Dallas, Texas. To this day, I have been living in Dallas, Texas for 2-3 years. This is my first year attending Public school this year, the last time I attended public school was in kindergarden, this year I am in 7th grade. Thats a little bit about me, now lets get to the application... Your in-game name: My in-game name is GoldenHawkFTW Which timezone are you in? I am in the Central Timezone GMT -6:00 Which languages do you speak? I speak, English, the language I learned by moving to the USA, I fluently speak it. Another language I speak is French as I went to an International school for 2 years and I was born in France. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) I have been banned once, my banning was caused because of the misunderstanding of me thinking that island raiding/bridging was allowed, to this day I am aware that this is strictly against the rules. I will never repeat this action. Why do you think you should be a mod? I would be an ideal Moderator as I love to help people both in-game and on the forums. I have presented this dedication with the amount of time I commit to Skyblock.net. I am strongly informed of the rules, and requirements on how the server runs. I deliver my full effort and see how much comes of me. Despite the fact that I am 12, I believe I am ready to prove/show a great potential. When someone feels pessimistic, I try to be the first person to help them feel better in the greater soothing way. I will never give up on a case until dealt with. If a player is spamming in chat I will verbally warn him/her, then proceed to warrant a mute. I am well aware that even though Skyblock is meant to be enjoyable, being a Moderator I will need to split up my amusing time and my time to guide members and moderate. I believe I would be an extraordinarily responsible Moderator as I am sympathetic towards all the other Moderators and I appreciate to help out the players. I believe my most culminating point (where I am at most active) will be in-game, as I can go on everyday. I am a very matured player looking to comfort the Skyblock community to grow in a secure environment. Moderator is earned after achieving the nearly impossible tasks of being unique and like nobody else. How long can you be active on the server every day? I can be on Skyblock 2-3 hours a day during the week, however during the weekend I can mostly be active all day Do you have any past experience as a moderator? My experience is very minor, going from being donator on popular servers and being staff on small servers, some servers I have been staff on were MJR craft and MJR PVP which were servers that taught me how to lead people in a fair way without lacking patience. I believe even the smallest amounts of me being staff will help me start with the staff basics. Skyblock is a huge community and I understand that I will need to work a lot harder than on these previous servers. Below I have setup a few categories of my qualifications that I am confident/proud of; Activity: I am present on the Skyblock.net server everyday for at least 2 hours. I keep updated with anything important/worrying on the forums, this means I am very aware of many things (Updates, new rules, new warps, etc.). Maturity: I am aware that the Skyblock administration team searches for uniquely matured players, this is something I have accomplished and am ready to show/prove.Dedication: I show my dedication with the amount of time I spend helping players in-game. As soon as I am not busy I will hop onto Skyblock.net and help players until no more help is needed or when multiple Moderators are present. Helpfulness: I try to help as many players as possible to show my dedication and effort towards bettering the Skyblock community. Communication: I am aware that having Skype is not a necessity, however, if needed to communicate or issue a staff meeting, I am always willing to use Skype. Grammar: I try to keep my grammar to a very correct manner as this shows professionalism. I will never use words such as: ROFL, gr8, thx. Honesty: I am a very honest person, I cannot lie even if I tried to, it is just not something I am good at nor am I willing to try. Note; I know how to use LogBlock plugin, some commands I know are: /lb rb player GoldenHawkFTW since 60 area 75 = Rollback of any blocks broken by a certain player, a certain radius of blocks around where the moderator is currently standing. /lb toolblock = block to place to see all the history of that block location.
