Hiya! My name is TortoiseSpeed but most of you know me as just Tortoise. Before I begin my moderator application I would like to say a little bit about myself. I am 15 years old in the 10th grade living in California, USA. I currently am very active in my youth group and attend after school volunteer events. I play baseball and golf for my school. I have a wonderful family and a loving, cute, kind, athletic, loving, courageous, adorable, loving, amazing tortoise named Bentley. Who basically has changed my life and also created my MC name and my minecraft name.... I hope you enjoy my moderator application and feel free to hate

Which languages do you speak? I speak and have always spoken one language and that is English though I am taking my second year of Spanish.

Why do you think you should be a mod? Why do I think I should be a mod? Looks like being a moderator on this server seems very hard since it gets constant applications sent in. So writing this seemed like a risk but I am willing to take it because I believe I have what most mods don't.

Well first off when I think of minecraft, skyblock.net is the first thing that comes to my mind. Skyblock is the only server I have ever played and I hope it stays like that. I think I should be a mod because I would be unlike any of the other mods. Most of the mods are very popular on the server and do constant Skype calls to each other and have inside jokes but I will be different. I don't have many friends on the server(not saying to get sympathy calm down) therefore I won't get that annoyed with people with /msg and asking for help.

I picture myself just sitting back and doing my job. I know the rule book on skyblock inside and out. I always try to help people. I respond to /msg right away and want to be a helping hand cause it helps the person out and it makes me feel better. I understand that becoming a moderator is slim and the chances are low so even if I don't become mod getting your guys feedback is important to me.

Where I'm from the time is different I find times when moderators aren't online and I want to change that. I always try to bring joy and try and be funny in the chat. I sort of have this "I don't care" kind of attitude in my life and nothing someone says will make me mad. There are many pending mod request out there and I do think I have what it takes. If I don't please tell me. I could go on and on about how I love skyblock but that is just simply unnecessary. I am very active on the forums to but I am quiet and try to mind my own business.
Pros: I have a very good since of humor and I find myself to be very mature for my age. I also am smart do to the fact I am a sophomore in HS and I'm taking junior classes. I never hold a grudge. Not many people make me mad but if I make someone mad I always try and apologize.
Cons: I am a very slow typer and I do make spelling and grammar errors not cause I don't know how to spell but it's the bad typing that causes it.
How long can you be active on the server every day? On weekdays probably from 8PM-11PM(I could get on minechat during school if that's a last resort.) and on Weekends I can get on whenever. I apologize that on weekdays I can only get on for 3 hours. School is the number one priority and college is right around the corner.
Do you have any past experience as a moderator? No but I was once hall monitor in 5th grade.

Hey tort I give you 100% for not only being helpful but for being there for people who really need the help. It doesn't matter if you make a few mistakes in your spelling. Seriously like if you say "the people are over there" instead of "their", its not a big deal! people think spelling corrections is a big deal. It isn't at all as long as people can understand what you are saying . Anyways... you are always active and you help everyone who may need it. 100% and i love you with a strong passion >
