It will, but it may be a little while, as problems arose at the last big update.

 

The server will be updated when all the plugins we use are updated, just like the previous updates

because people would go and trade with villagers when the plugin wasn't updated and make lots of money. Just incase you were wondering.

 

How would they make money by trading with villagers?

 

Well it was back then when emeralds were a fortune. How do you think all these emeralds entered the economy to this day? Old donors thats how

Back then, crew would update the server when the update came out. And the villager trade plugin wouldn't be updated. So donors could spawn and trade regular trades with villagers. Until the plugin was updated of course.

Has anyone noticed that if you try and craft a 1.8 item you can briefly see it before it vanishes from the workbench?

 

Yes, I tried to craft an armor stand

 

I tried to craft a slime block. As soon as 1.8 comes out Im going to sell so many of those (I have a slime chunk )

 

I tried crafting chiseled stone bricks

 

I presume that would mean that crafting items, along with the recipes, are all done client-side. However, the item actually 'existing' to use, is server-side. The item showing for a moment would be the client-side part, but the item would then disappear as the server has not been updatated.
