Hey, this is RoboDucker and I really want to be a only forums Mod I think its a long shot trying to get regular mod and I was just wondering if there could just be a forums moderator and if so if i could be the first one? Thank you for reading this!!

Cyp chooses, and I think its been stated no application form will be released. Also, we have Pile, and the forums are pretty much good now.

I actually wasn't the first, but it's not really a thing as of yet.
I only have the title because I didn't want in-game mod perms so "Forums Mod" fit.
I think it's a great suggestion tho, and wish you the best of luck.

This probably won't happen anytime soon, if at all. All of the current mods take care of the forums just as much as in game issues. Plus, we have Pile_of_Butts as a forums only mod to help keep things nice and clean. If the rank became regular, it would be much too confusing in my opinion.

 

Cyp said that he isnt promoting new forum mods yet.

 

more forum only mods, more eyes to watch everything.. tis all i can think of
cause in game mods cant watch the forums posts and whatnot all of the time, they have alot to do as it is, in game mute/kick/bans, appeals on here, etc. and not to mention life.
having idk.. just a few more forum mods, like 2,3 total? can keep more regulated, then the mods can focus more on appeals, forums their names are tagged in, and in game

but then again, from what it sounds like in this post, you all have it handled lol.
even after reading another post that mods are pretty busy and have their hands full at times..

 

For now, just Pile and the whole staff team will be enough, at least in my opinion.

What would a forum mod do?

 

Everything a regular mod does, except that they focus only on the forums and do not have moderator perms in game.

 

Forum Moderating

 

I'm not quite sure I get what you're saying. To my knowledge, regular mods usually focus on in-game, and only come to the forums for appeals, reports, maybe to tidy up the forums a little bit, and to have some fun (correct me if I missed anything). Forum-only mods couldn't work with appeals or reports, and the forums are about as clean as they're gonna get.
