Support, it looks undeniably awesome.

 

I don't see a point to having this. I mean, crew doesn't need another server on his network, he already has a lot to handle. It would be much harder to manage a whole other server. This is kind of pointless, and also not many people will go on it. Sure they will at first, but after a while, only a few people will be on.

Good thought, and it would work as we have a hellblock, a heavenblock is good and would fit, but there are some flaws.

.NET has 200-400 people,
.ORG has 10-50 people,
HB has 0-20

Who would go on heavenblock, and with the abbreviation, HB and HB, which is which?

Also, to impliment a lot of plugins for Heavenblock to work, and with a dev we do not have, it will be hard. Also, the forums will need to change to have stuff for heavenblock, a rush of mod apps for heavenblock, and another server for noobcrew and cypriotmerks to be on, (as they deffinately are not worked up enough)

 

Whelp, it's been awhile since I've been on these forums, and someone tagged me into this thread.

I'm assuming it's because I made a fully functioning skyblock plugin (with built-in grief/chest/entity/everything protection) for the person who tagged me.

From skimming the previous replies, I'm unsure where this project is left, whether Geek is doing something official or not, or whether any additional input is wanted from others.

Anyway, I'll just say that I would be happy to tweak my plugin's island generation and add those generators, and make it all available for whomever is interested, provided there is compensation of some sort. I'll be checking this thread to see what comes of this.

 

Also, here's another thought to all you naysayers: using my skyblock-variant plugins together on one server is entirely possible and could alleviate your concerns as to player-base. I'm not sure as to the success of this with Geek's implementation, but it would be entirely feasible to have HellBlock, HeavenBlock, etc., on one server using Multiverse and my plugins.

So, perhaps, re-purpose HellBlock into a specialty SkyBlock server, with different worlds for each type of skyblock. Like a hub-server, but all on one server only. Everyone wins: new skyblock types PLUS no need for more servers with few players.

The thread has not broken forum rules. I will say this, while the server name was not mentioned, in this case, promoting that this would be on a specific server outside of skyblock (and saying whose server it is, who they could clearly contact) would be a ploy for advertisement. Geek, you don't decide the definition of advertisement just because you used to be an admin. The posts in question have been removed, further discussion on the topic will result in infractions.
