I think it would be cool to be able to ride them in water and fly squid and bat pets. maybe we could set that if u have /fly, you can fly on your bat. squids would jst be cool

I don't know if I'm recalling.correctly, but I believe I have memory of donors using /pet squid. I think I remember people flying on the squid at spawn. I'm not sure why this was removed (if it ever existed at all). Maybe lag issues?

 

A reason it was removed is because /pets can be brought into /ma j, and you can ride them. If you could fly on them, you could fly out and survive until you quit or get banned.
More reasons may exist, but I can't say.

Commands that do not involve /ma j are now allowed in any chunks of the arena. They must be used outside of it, and /fly is disabled on entry (/god is not though).

 

But all the commands have been disabeld but not in /warp stafflist or solething so...

No. Pets are still an issue in ma, and the bat and squid pets can be flown, allowing you to illegally fly while participating in ma. That's what lego was trying to get at. It doesn't matter if you fly in from the outside, as you aren't participating (and so long as you stay out of the way of the players, it doesn't affect the game) but if you're actually in ma, these pets can be ridden and you can hide in the stands. This is why they are removed. There is no work around for this.

Flying on these pets doesn't require a command. The pet plugin doesn't coincide with essentials. You can fly on a pet without /fly enabled.

 

The solution for pets in /ma j is copying a set of codes that remove all entities except for players when the round ends, and putting it right before the round starts.

 

You'd have to contact the plugin coder for that.
