If you are mod on teamspeak you're not there to socialize with people. You are there to moderate. Biggest reason that I was in my own channel and rarely joining others was just that. Not calling anyone out on it, but it seemed pretty logical to me .-.
Hmm I disagree. I use my time to build stuff for others as well as god/repair for free. And instead of ignoring, I tell them that I am helping someone so I will help them later
There was a person who helped me (Off-topic) when I was a greenbean who is my bestie now MrParkourGuy
(tear) Anyways, great test Zambi. I have done similar, and I did not get friendly results. Such as me asking "I'm new here! What do I do first?" Mod: "errrr... Make an island I guess"
I will admit, when I get on Net, I have a hard time keeping up with the amount of players PMing me for help. I do my best to tell them I'm busy with another player, and if they continue to spam, I just put "busy". Like the other day, when taking care of a Huge bridge network.. Thing was SO big, I got lost.. I asked over and over for help from Net mods, Got nowhere, Until Tay popped online and helped me Right away I think I'll stick to my Org, and lend help to Cissa on HB whenever she needs it ^^;;
While I don't believe I was online, I shall apologize if I have ever been unable to help someone due to either not having the knowledge needed to, or the time, since I have been rather busy lately.
I love this idea! I have been thinking about getting an alt, just so I could do this. I really think I might now.
I already talked to him about how I did. And I know that org proved itself to be the caring community I know it is, but, I'd also just like to say... I do get lost in chat sometimes. So if I don't respond to you immediately, give it a few moments, and then just message me again. In global chat, if I'm distracted, I tend to react to the words Madam, Keeper or help. However, if anyone has ever felt that I've ignored them, or I've done anything that you felt was wrong, feel free to msg me in game or pm me here on the forums and let me know. Just as is the spirit of this thread, I may not realize my weaknesses if they aren't pointed out.
I'd do this but both of my accounts are $50 donor >_< It would look awkward if a donor went "hai gaiz, firz tiem joyning how du i maek an eyelnd?" EDIT: Not saying non-donors have bad grammar, but, well, it's not exactly perfect either. This goes for donors as well.
