Delete minecraft and the folder, completely. Re-install minecraft, only use one profile for now, with no texture packs or mods. 1.7.x If it works, yee. If not, what texture pack(s) do you have? - Plus have anything in the mod folder?
There's nothing in the minecraft folder, when I deleted it and opened minecraft again, the folder was blank. I had taken out my saves and my texture packs.
You mean this page? Minecraft When you click download it opens a pop up. Do you have pop ups disabled? Also make sure that you completely uninstall mc before downloading it again. If you've got a corrupted file or something you need to get rid of it before you download again.
No, the minecraft.dmg won't load, and I can't get on my computer ATM, it's 4:42 a.m, Thanks for your suggestion though. I'll try see if pop-ups are on when I get on. Also, I've been able to re download it before.
Well, it's working now, we just had to leave it. If you have a similar problem, delete the minecraft folder (save anything you want) and just leave it for about twelve hours, then open the launcher again and it should work. Thanks for your suggestions guys keeper_of_flame , please lock
