Just a small update on ratings. I've seen way to many people abusing the rating system so I have decided to disable Dumb rating and make all negative ratings Neutral apart from Dislike. If you see anyone abuse the rating system report them. Please vote on the poll if you want me to keep the changes or put it back the way it was. Poll will close in 48 hours.
Oh. One thing that may be a problem is that when you removed the dumb rating altogether, the negative ratings were still kept. For example, I have 4 negatives. I have 1 dislike, and I used to have 3 dumb ratings, but the 3 dumb ratings kept over.
I think that this is a good idea. On aki's rank giveaway thread, someone created 2 duplicate accounts and went and downvoted every poster to try and reduce our chances of winning. This would reduce the rating abuse. Thanks a lot for implementing this cyp
I feel you should still be able to use negative because that means you don't like the post, think it is dumb, or it's rude. Just like positives, you can express your feelings through that if you like it with a like.
This isn't limiting anyone's opinion, it's just stopping people being offended because they're getting a negative rating for expressing their opinion. I've been heavily against negatives for awhile, I tried to get Cypriot to add a 'like only' system where you could only like a post and not leave any kind of negative rating at all. You can already see that the 'Disagree' rating is already being abused in this thread by people because others are expressing their opinions.
I support this. You will not understand the amount of complaints due to ratings we get as mods. Simply because of too many people abusing the system, action was taken. You can blame the abusers of ratings. You can still rate things, just minus dumb. This is the most petty thing to even be upset about when there are far more important issues out there.
Hmmm, is it possible to keep dumb as a neutral rating? It gives pointless suggestions opinions, without unnecessarily bumping it with posts.

I have had trouble with this on mineverse, many people just give me dumb ratings because I do something not dumb, or anything negative rating though I don't do anything, guess what, before you know, your already on the Most Negative Ratings List in members. Hope this is fixed for mineverse to
