I like this idea. I support.
The chat is crazy when it hits peak of the day, and the server is almost filled.

 

I do like the idea but seriously who is going to implement this we have no active admins anymore and Crew has many servers to take care of and there hasnt been anything changed or added in months... many months.

 

Support! The spam for chat would change by alot and it might be better for players.

I could do this but to link into the coops I would need access to the current Skyblock plugin and database

 

/ch used to be in the server and had a radius of 50 around your island

 

I support this. We could use things such as chat channels, it would be nice to be able to talk to people you're trying to build or trade with without the chat being filled with "hi any 1 want to be my grillfriend" and "msg me if ur a doner and want to be my bf".

We could use more a more organised chat system. Thanks for the suggestion

 

I completely agree. When moderators get the rank, they esentially sign themselves up for it. If they can't handle it, they shouldn't be mod. I give 100% support. This is a fantastic idea. I'm not in a coop with more than one person so I can just do "/msg" but still - I think it would work out great.

 

There used to be a cool chat or island chat. I dont know why they got rid of it, i support

 

That is a brilliant idea! instead of /msg to people in coop!

 

NO SUPPORT AT ALL... NONE NOT EVEN A GERM SIZED... Local chat on .Net was removed for good reason and I hope one day will be removed on .Org... Mods will need new perms and it will be horrible for them they already have Socialspy and the .Net chat spam, adding local will drive the .Net mods to Insanity

I agree. The server lags sometimes when it's peak time for the server.

 

about a year and a half ago skyblock had this but it was removed. I really want it back because chat gets spammed and i talk to my coop a lot. I support it to come back

Yes! The chat'll get spammed if we don't have it back and it can be infuriating when you're trying to say "Please can someone message me if you sell chicken eggs?" and the chat is full of "NO! PUT IT THERE! (caps protect)". It's a minor inconvenience not having it but it'll improve the server in the long run.

 

Why stop at coop chat? Just get a party plugin and add /p to the essentials socialspy config. No special coding required =3

Coop chat would be nice, but it could be better. Being able to create a party would be good for:

• Coop's ofc
• Trading
• Group Chat

There are probably more ways than I've listed that this could be beneficial, but I'm half asleep, so yeah
