I bought a spawner for 3 diamonds. I then decided I would like to make a slime farm, so I went to my island, built down as far as I could without falling out of the world (I actually did once) because I believed that slimes only spawn near bedrock or in swamp biomes, I'm in an ocean biome. So when my platform was complete I placed down my spawner and asked if a Donor could change it to a slime spawner. @YogscastRess kindly helped me out, they changed the spawner, placed down some grass (we thought that was causing them to not spawn), we then put a roof on the platform (that was our second idea), after that they still weren't spawning. We moved the spawner to my main island to see if that would work, again, they placed down some grass but still, nothing happened. I have now had a Mod remove the spawner and I have been thinking about what could be the problem. Nothing has popped into mind yet. If you know how I could fix this I would greatly appreciate it Just leave it down in the replies section or send me a message on here or in-game, my name is tallyfone :3 Thank you ~ tallyfone
Yes, even slime spawners need to be in a slime chunk. Although I believe it would also work in a swamp biome. I could be wrong on that last part. Is this resolved then, or did you have more questions?
