Okay so I dont know if im getting confused or what

To my understanding these are the changes:

*Servers have to decide whether enterance to the server is free or everyone has to pay the same amount for enterance

*The servers cannot charge for additional perks that would change the gameplay (eg fly and kits)

*You cannot charge individuals for using a vanilla server

*individuals will be able to charge people for skins/mods they have made

*For those who have already purchased perks will have to be refunded by the server owners in one form or another

please please correct me if Im wrong as I think Im a little confused. I would also really like to hear Noobcrews opinion on this because right now I am confused whether this server will remain accessable or whether i should find another server before i get too attatched to this server and before i waste time. I really hope this server remains open as I do love it so much!

Who knows, he brought this upon himself. Maybe, just maybe the EULA won't go through. Let's hope so.

True, but now they're looking to enforce it by legal action.

If you can't take hate, you really shouldn't be running a big company

    LOL

    1) He's not the CEO, that seat is taken by Carl Manneh. Markus is simply Chairman of the Board. Even if he was CEO, it's not unheard of for a CEO to leave after a company decision. Ever heard of a man named Steve Jobs? He was removed from his CEO position and replaced.

    2) You guys need to learn how to recognize sarcasm. If he was really considering leaving, I can guarantee you he would not make a tweet like this.

    3) Yes, this has been a part of the EULA in a minimized form, but this new update is vastly different for many reasons. ScottishArgonian summed them up pretty well, so I won't recap on them. The only thing I will say is good luck to all the servers trying to make money nowadays, and be safe. Noobcrew, I suggest you read everything clearly, and make sure you are familiar with the law before you continue your operations in the manner you have been.

Excuse my mistake... I merely meant that he was a high-up guy position-wise.

When these chances arose I was kinda like well I'm sure the servers would be easily ran without the need of donations but over time I have come to realise that for some server owners donations are almost their livelihood and if hate to see servers go under because of this.

I would also hate players "giving up" on servers because the rank perks will no longer give you an advantage. Please don't get mad at me for this but I feel that this will be the case and or that reason the servers will inevitably fall, however, if we decide to go screw you changes and continue to play on these servers I'm sure the best server owners will keep their servers up and even if was not the case then more people will go to other servers and those will get better.

Right think of it this way, let's imagine skyblock.net , skyblock.org and hellblock were all ran by seperate owners. Let's now say that skyblock.net has 100 members .org has 100 and hellblock has 100. If skyblock.net shuts down due to these changes and hellblock charges for enterance, then most likely skyblock.org will gain at least 50 members from both servers therefore making the total number of players on .org increase to 200 in which will, hopefully, double the amount of donations for extra items (not kits or ranks due to changes)

    ...still with me?...

So to sum up this long and boring post, I say that no crew needs to have their servers free to enter (reduce the number of servers if needed) and I suggest that everyone continues playing the servers they know an love and if they shut down then find the next similar server and make that your new home. A server is nothing without the gamers and as long as the gamers keep gaming a business can't go out of business or crumble

    ...please don't hate me

There are some people who play on Net and hate Org, etc. I highly doubt it, but in the case if Net shutdowns, the majority of the players will leave.

Very true. If there was a choice of .net or .org I'd choose .org however if there was a choice of skyblock or no skyblock I'd no doubt move to .net or hellblock
