Hello, my name is Ryan. I am from Vancouver BC. I am a 14 year old boy who is looking for ways he can give back to this amazing server that people have created. I have tried other servers including my own but still none of them have a community like skyblock.net. I have been playing for about 6 months now and I feel like I need to give back and assist the moderators who have helped me in the past. Why am I trying to become a moderator? I want to become a moderator because I feel like I can help better the skyblock community and help make sure that people stay in order. I know there are tons of people who want this position, I feel as though I am very qualified for this position. I can help create a safer more fun environment for all players. I know all of the rules of the server and have never had any problems in the past. Like I said I want to make skyblock.net a better place. What is your in game name? My in game name is smexyturtle3000 What time zone are you in? I am located in the Pacific Time zone with British Columbia and California. What languages do you speak? I speak fluent English and French and I have a basic understanding of Spanish. Have you ever been ban? No, I have never been ban or had any sort of trouble where I am at fault on this server or any server for that matter. Why do you think you should become a moderator? I believe I should be a moderator because… 1) Patient. - I have a very long temper and unless you do something extremely large I will not create any drama. I rarely get mad at people who are spamming me or trying to be rude and say things about me n chat or in private messaging. 2) Good problem solver- not only do I do well with things like riddles but I am amazing at solving problems in social situations. I am a very good at depicting what people actually mean by what they are saying and very very good at solving arguments. I do it all the time I am a babysitter of a family of 3 children and not once have they ever fought while I am there and gotten away with it. 3) Quick typer- yes I know this isn’t required and to some it might be useless but with how large social media and computer technology is it is a good skill to have. I have recently typed up to 79 words per minute in all the right type at school. I feel this skill would be useful because that means I can get to people faster and help stop the chat spam as well as possible. 4) Forgiving- I am very good at forgiving people. I basically live by the quote forgive and forget. If I do become a mod I will take into consideration if the player is innocent and ask both parties for their side of the story. Then from there make a decision. 5) Helpful- everyone thinks that because I am a guy all I think about is girls and I probably smoke weed but no that is not me at all. I am one of the most well mannered well spoken 14 year olds you will ever have met. 6) I don’t choose one over another- if I become a moderator and I am swamped with people I will get their names taken down so I can assist them after I am done with the person that I am already helping. 7) Productive- I am very productive so if I was a moderator and 4 islands were greifed I would not take time around an fool around I am a very straight forward person. I go from one thing to another until I am done then I worry about my social life. I often put tasks and others before myself and make sure that I do my best to help where ever and whenever I can. 8) Work well with others- I try my best to do what I have to and help others if they need it. I work well with others because I care about not seeing just me succeed but everyone. I want everyone to succeed and if someone is falling behind or something I will do my best to try to get them caught up. I am a math tutor for younger kids that need the help. I work with about 5 kids every week and according to their parents they are doing much better now then before. 9)0 tolerance for bullying - as I said before I am caring, I want to see everyone succeed and I want to see everyone feel better about themselves. As someone who has been bullied for 10 years I would wish that on no one. Not even the people who picked on me I would not wish that on them. I along with everyone else in my family don’t know how I do it but 10 years and I cracked a small bit once. 10) want to see the skyblock community grow!- all of my friends play minecraft and I have been telling them about this server and they should come and join me on it some time because I genuinely want to see this server grow bigger and have more active people in the community. *Before I move on if there is anything else you think I should include in this application section or any section please let me know so I can try and do my best to make it better! When am I available? Weekdays- (I can use my phone to chat moderate at school) physically on from 3:15-9:00 (so I can do my homework) Weekends from 8:30 am – 10-10:45 depending on what I have the next day. *another benefit of having me as a mod is I can moderate chat everyday at school from my phone and most nights till about 12:30. Also I don’t play sports at the moment so I will be available to be on more. Very good mod app, for now 50% support cause I never saw you help while I was on. Dont put that you have a donor rank cause thats seen as bribery and maybe get a Profile Picture so you attract more attention to yourself.
