All you've done since you resigned is to rest on your past laurels of "being the most *insert randomly declared qualification here* Mod". You've displayed behavior unbecoming of a player, not to mention an SMod, to the point where other mods have had to tell you to rein it in - were you a normal greenbean I suspect you'd be banned long time ago for that sort of behaviour.

Sure, your experience may be valuable to some of the more junior mods, but certainly your attitude and arrogance sure isn't. Prancing around in vanish selectively helping people whom _you_ deem "need help" is one thing, but being an actual mod is another.

 

All I have done since I resigned is to try to recover from what made me resign. I don't know how long you have played here, but if you have been here long enough you would know for yourself that I was and still am one of the most active, and to some, the best mod on the server. I'm agree in what you are saying, when it comes to the greenbean part. I am sure that I would have been banned over and over again if I were a nobody. But now, that is not the case. Everyone knows who I am, and what I am like. Hell, if you think my current behaviour is "bad" then you should have seen me six months ago. I have made improvements in my behaviour. Yes, it was a pretty shitty behaviour, but noone really minded it, those who did told me. After a while I thought I should improve myself, so I did.

My experience isn't valuable just to the younger ones. From what I have heard and seen, the older mods from my time may or may not have forgotten about the times from when we used to moderate this server together. A few of them were inactive at the point when I resigned and came back when I was gone. Some haven't come back yet. Your next statement about my arrogance and my attitude shows yet again that you do not know me. The staff does. They know that I am not as bad as you are portraying me. I care a lot about others, especially staffmembers. When my anger gets the best of me, however, words slip through my lips and I formulate myself in ways I shouldn't. I know that. That's why I stay quiet in chat for a while, to regain my calm and to make my best decisions again.
"Prancing around" in vanish, as you so beautifully and ignorantly put it, was not what I was doing. Again, if you knew me and knew what I actually was doing in vanish, then you wouldn't put this as some for of critizism, I guess it is.
When the new SMod rank got created, one of our new tasks was to keep an eye on the lesser mods. I did just that in a better and more efficient way than the others, because of my vanish. I could see people how they were, when they thought they were alone. Some even got demoted from what I've seen, this, however, is unrelated. Not only this, I could help the ones who needed me instead of reading all the chat messages that messaged me with "hi" or asking about items, donorship, questions about life, conversations about how I was, where I was, if people could tp, etc.
Basically made my ability to help to go more to the ones who need it.
So, my question to you is, what is an "actual mod"? Do you in your honest belief believe that I am not an "actual mod", or do you perhaps believe that you would do a better job than me? The qualities you put in your app are indeed good, I'll give you that, but those aren't what I am, or what this server needs the most right now, not to say that the server doesn't need you. That choice is not up to me. What the server needs right now is someone to orginize it again, and to have it poiting at the correct direction, the only direction, the one direction. (hue)
When all that is ready, when this team is finally stable once again, we can focus on other things. If you want to see an effient and well working team, you first need it to be at the very least decently functioning. Then you can work with it.

I bet you find all my words being rubbish, but it is the truth. I've gotten from many mods that I explain the current situation very accurate, considering I don't have access to Mod forums yet.

Bottom line, I'm not calling you an idiot or anything, all I am saying is that you do not know or see the whole picture. You have only seen the small side of myself that I, unfortunately, hold.

I guess this discussion is moot because you got repromoted, but I feel that I can't let this go unanswered.

I haven't seen a change in your behavior 3 months ago (when you abused social spy and first exploded over my attempt to run a simple server activity), and as recently as yesterday you invited someone to attempt to place a cactus in a very undesirable location, on top of using other choice words and asking them to visit a very hot place. I don't consider that "trying to recover", unless you were trying to recover in the wrong direction.

I wasn't here from the start, but I've been playing well over 1.5 years now, and I've asked for your help maybe 3-4 times over that time, each time I was either told no help, or ignored. Of course this isn't the full picture, you were probably busy breaking a bridge or something, but the point is, from my perspective, you were one of the most useless mods ever to roam the skyblock realm, add your obnoxious and arrogant behavior, and I don't even know why you're not banned at this stage.

Now you've harped on alot about how other staff knows your behavior, knows how "not as bad" you are etc. This is not an excuse for breaking the rules. You can't go around and say "oh the police knows I'm gonna rob this house, so it's ok, but oh wait, I *am* the police".

An actual mod is one who works for the betterment of the server. It may be helping someone with a silly question as "how do I get home", or gently correcting an 8-yr old who asks for Op. Either way, based on what you described, and your actions over the past few weeks, I do NOT see you having the maturity or ability to steer the server in the right direction. Yes, you may have the clout to steer, but certainly not in the right direction.

And afterall, what would I know? I'm just an ignorant non-Mod with no access to the mod forums or anything like that. But as they say, "elect me and I'll fix everything"

 

Here comes the ignorance. There is only a few things to say about what you've been saying, since I can't be bothered with this pointless argument.
You clearly have no idea what you are speaking of, or at the very least you have very little knowledge of what you're speaking of. I don't abuse my commands. I tell people what they need to hear, although it may be rude as hell. I am sure there are plenty of people who can vouch that I am as far away from "useless" as you can be, atleast in connection to this server. Again, you think this is bad? You should have seen me before, which you clearly haven't.
Back to the abuse point: if I was an abusive kind of mod, I'd delete everything you said and ban you for disrespect. That is what a corrupt and abusive mod does. Use his tools to make himself look better.
"Not as bad" was a more "humble" way of saying that I am not a bad guy. I don't tell innocent guys who ask for help to go to hell. The ones I do usually triggers this by being egocentric and malicious (as Acid when he flooded my chat because it was fun) and then trying to report me for losing my temper for a moment. Unfortunately I didn't take screenshots, but he knows pretty damn well what he did.
