I think it would be awesome to have Packed Ice available for grass, because it's really useful for certain purposes. Maybe make it only for donors (Coming-Soon-villager at /warp donor? ). Could a mod please tag CypriotMerks or someone else who has the power to decide? Thanks! Also tell me what you think about my suggestion.
Packed ice is only available it naturally spawning spiked ice biomes it is not possible to make sadly.
I like this idea, except I think it shouldn't be sold at /warp donor. Just /warp grass. Most people need ice when they lose their starter piece or want to make infinite sources and those people are usually non-donating greenbeans. I have a hunch that when those new blocks come out (diorite and the like), they will be available at /warp donor to fulfill the "coming soon".
Well, packed ice doesn't turn back into water. Packed ice just has the slippery effect ice has and is used for building.
Oh! I wasn't aware there were two different kinds. (Sounds pretty cool, literally) In my taiga biome, I mine regular ice. How does one produce "packed ice"?
You can't make it. It's only found in one biome in giant spires. That's why we were hoping it could be added to /warp donor or /warp grass. I support this, by the way.
Non-donors may want it, but I think it should be sold at /warp donor only. This may inspire more people to donate. Plus, it will give /warp donor more of a purpose.
Maybe. But at the end of the day I think people wont donate to get ice. Non donors probably would want it to, and to be fair I think warp grass is best if that's what crew/cyp decide
