Today I was expanding my island and I found another island. I felt like I had built too close to it, so I /jump ed over to it just to see if the area was protected, which it wasn't. I want to expand my island, but I don't want to interfere with someone else's island. I know that islands are protected, so what do I do?
If for some reason you end up going too far into an unprotected area by mistake, when you are Walking/Flying back To your island, you will get the alert that you have entered Your area. Once you figure out Down to the Block what is your island, you can in turn remove any blocks that went over the boundary.
