INTRO: Hi everyone, I have been contemplating creating a mod app for a while now and I decided that I would as I think I could be of more help while a mod. If have never seen me in-game, I'm sorry, I try to be on as much as possible. My hours of playing/moderating are quite high and I think I could be of great assistance to people like RobloxianRoblox and krissy_punk, as I see them swamped quite often when I am on. I won't take too much of your time, just want to give you some reasons why I want to be a mod and why I think I should be a mod. A tad about me: I am 19 and am currently living in the U.S., in Florida. I spent most of my life in Lithuania, in Europe, but I am back in the States now going to college. I am in my second semester and am starting introductory computer courses to declare a minor in computer information systems and later follow a major in it. I commute to and from school which gives me more liberty than residential students. I'm currently studying for the final exams which are in two weeks. There isn't too much to say about me that I won't say in the application, so I guess I'll leave it at this. Your in-game name: bddmissionary(AKA Craft) Which timezone are you in? CST(Florida) Which languages do you speak? English & Lithuanian. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) Yes. I was banned for greifing/looting back when I had just started playing(late Januaury). Why do you think you should be a mod? There are a few defining reasons I believe I should be a mod. There is anything in particular that this section requires, please let me know-all feedback is appreciated! I believe I should be a mod because I am: Reliable: I like to think of myself as someone who can be counted on. I try to be available to help anyone who needs it, but of course there are times when I am unavailable and for this, I apologize. I try to make time for each person that needs it, but sometimes I am swamped with one thing, or just busy with trying to do more than one thing at a time. I will strive to be available more often to those who need it and I will attempt to do anything and everything I can to help you in your specific situation that requires my assistance. Attentive: I make it a point to read the chat whenever I'm on and try not to miss any messages that are sent to me. Also, I will strive to keep the chat clear of any advertising or inappropriate message or link , that may be unsuitable for young children to see/watch. I try to pay attention as much as possible to everything that goes on in the chat and try to answer questions people may have regarding the server, or even how to do simple tasks like farming, redstoning, crafting, etc.. Patient: I consider myself quite a patient person, especially when it comes to people constantly asking for things, or people being inappropriate. I don't get mad and rage when someone tries to aggravate me and I am patient with people who tend to ask too often for things. I don't overreact to stressful situations and I don't lose my cool when people are being rude or disrespectful to someone, weather it be mod or not. Kindhearted: I don't mean to brag, but I try to be as kind and generous with my resources as I can manage, without spoiling. I try to give freely to anyone who needs resources of any kind. Really, one of the reasons I still play is because I enjoy giving and helping. If I was on a server with people, none of which needed my help, I wouldn't want to play anymore. The fact that I can help someone and make their experience on the server more enjoyable, gives me all the drive I need to keep playing. Fair: I do not and will not discriminate against anyone whether it be skygod or greenbean. If someone is doing something that they shouldn't, I will call them on it. I also do not show favoritism, especially towards my friends. If I have a friend who is breaking the rules, I will want to be just as lenient with them as I would anyone else. My goal is to make the server more enjoyable for everyone by trying to uphold the rules and "keep it clean." How long can you be active on the server every day? ALL NIGHT - George Lopez Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I moderate a small server and have had a little experience on a few others in leadership/mod positions. Conclusion: I could honestly write forever about what I think qualifies me as a mod, but.. I would rather let the people tell me what they think. If I am meant to be mod, I want to gain it through the votes of my fellow Skyblockers, not through a fancy app. I will gladly update this if necessary, please let me know where I can improve and how I can be better.
