When someone invites you to their island, if you type /coop accept, can we make it so that you have to confirm before joining the island by using /coop yes?

Ex.
User invited you to their island. Type /coop accept to join or /coop reject to deny.

User: /coop accept

Are you sure you'd like to join this island?

/coop yes or /coop no

I came up with this idea because I saw a thread where someone was using tab and accidentally joined another's island and lost theirs because of it. If there was a confirmation part to this plugin, it would be better.

 

I don't get it. It's a simple question, if you don't want to join an island why would you even bother typing /coop <accept or deny>. This wouldn't be an issue if people weren't clueless about what they are typing. <.<

 

Well some people tend to deny and when using tab, this is an issue.

 

That's just them being careless. No point in adding parts to the plugin because people are careless. Also, why would you deny it I mean if you don't accept it or deny it, nothing happens.

 

This function already exists, changing 'accept' to 'yes' isn't going to make any difference.

 

No, it's going to ask you to confirm after saying accept.

 

So kinda like saying "you sure you want to join" then "are you really sure you wanna join?"

Just stay away from the tab key, ease of use and security are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

 

I don't use tab for things like this. I usually don't reply at all however there are 500 players. One of them will mess up eventually and complain that they are missing their island.

 

If you want ease of use aka laziness aka don't have a habit of typing in full names, then there's bound to be mistakes. Whether these mistakes are that you PM the wrong person, or that you accidentally accept a coop. It's not hard to train yourself to not press tab, seeing as the notification if someone invites you to a coop is pretty large and hard to mistake for something else.
