So I noticed that sometimes when I stop flying, my pet gets annoying. Any help with stopping the spam and getting it to follow me?

 

/pet hide to stop the messages and /pet show to get your pet back again.

 

/pet remove to remove it.

 

I would like to hide the annoying messages in chat, not the pet itself.

 

I'm not sure then. I think that only happens with squid pets. The only solution I can give you is to use a different pet, or for you to not fly,

 

The messages happen when I don't fly, or when I get more then 2 blocks away from my pet.

 

Okay. The reason this is happening is because squids cannot move to follow you on their own. They have to be teleported. Every time they teleport, however, it displays the message. There isn't a solution to this problem unless you choose a different pet or turn off chat.

Sometimes the pet does follow me, but if it gets caught on a block and it can't go towards me, then it starts spamming.

Yeah, I started just doing /pet hide when I get on and if I need my pet just /pet show and also do /pet show if it gets to far away
