Sometimes it's the connections between you and the router that might be wonky or under repair. You can try using a proxy to get around those links, there are many free options available, it'll at least allow you to see if it's a problem with being banned or your ISP.

    Wonky! XD
Is only Skyblock acting weird, or is all of Minecraft (Ex: Offline Mode, Skin not loading in Singleplayer)

    It's Minecraft, not the server.

In a Bridges match on a server, I had full diamond and then the server said: WARNING: JAVA HEAPED UP! SERVER WILL NOW SHUT DOWN! Good thing that happened though because three people were ganging up on me and I was fortunately saved so that was a win-win, but a lose-lose at the same time.

Hmmm, Creepersteam. I haven't had any issues with other servers or even offline MC. java.connectexception is one of the most common networking exception in Java. This error comes when you are working with client-server architecture and trying to make TCP connection from client to server.

That my friend sounds like a server issue to me :p

Singleplayer MineCraft only uses a slight internet connection and that's to grab your skin from the servers then no data is used, in fact you can pull your internet mid-game play and nothing will happen.

What's happening is your connection is dropping packets to and from the Hellblock server, this could be caused by a lot of things, as we know the internet can only travel one way. So your connection could be a 'busy' path thus it's slower.

That or Hellblock is having lag issues.

All the servers have lag these days. 1.7.x has so much that it is harder to get high FPS rates.
