if you put the book + a book and quill in a crafting station you get an exact copy.

 

Just because they are duped doesn't mean they aren't legit. It is allowed to copy books. Also they may be worth something in 1.8. But if you don't want a neutral rating, I will remove it

Exactly. even if they dont gain value immediately, they will after about 2 months, after several have been lost, start to gain value.

 

Maybe a bit longer than 2 months. But in the end they should gain value. I remember when lava blocks were 8 grass each, and look at the price now.

 

Same, and i was such a noob i was all like "I allready have lava, why would i need that?" i also remember when horse eggs were 2 grass each.
