I'm not that much of a writer though I was sick today so I could not go to school, long story short I have started this. . . .

Away

(First Draft)



As I wake up in the morning I look out of my window. I can smell the fresh air that comes through the opening it is relatively cold today. I can feel goose bumps crawling up my arms and down my spine until I shiver, I so want to go back into my warm cozy bed and I keep wanting to crawl back in and live in bliss and forget all my worries, but then I remember something, it's a new day, a new chance, a fresh start.

I begin to head to my old radio which I have had since I was only 14, I'll admit it's only got just enough power to work, but it reminds me of home.

Right now I live in New York but I used to live in New Zealand. It was a simple life, a nice place, a caring community, a breath of fresh air and now I live in the hectic world that is New York, Bright lights, noise everywhere and anywhere, busy streets. You know it we got it!

When I was 16 I got my first job at McDonalds so I could have a taste of the real world, gain some knowledge about leadership and make some new friends while I get away from the torture that was my old high school. It was terrible, people would always pick on me because I was different, I didn't watch all the "popular" television shows, and I did not follow every famous pop star on twitter so I got excluded from most of the groups. When I was in grade 10 though they started to want to get more popular then the other group so they let me join them, but there was a catch. I had to do all crazy things like steal stuff and be rude to anybody that was not in the group. I was not going to do this though, I was going to be me so I stood up to them and said they cannot change me and I was super proud that year, my grades boosted as well as my confidence. There were very nice moments though like When I bought my very first phone that I saved up forever to get it took 9 months but after I bought the phone, It was the best thing ever

"GOOD MORNING FROM SUNRISE" Ah Stupid Grace always leaning on the sound button, well anyway I should start stretching.

When I start to ease through my morning stretch and increase my flexibility I can feel my muscles getting the relief they need, well I might as well go get breakfast.​

Not that good but it's a start :3

 

I think it's great! But I wonder what the character's name is, or what the story is about. I can probably answer the second question though.

The only thing I have against this is the amount of 'I's which are used within the first few sentence, the rest is awesome though xD
