Firstly, since everyone cant "hear" eachother in text its hard to get a read on "intention of approach" so in most cases we accidently asume its a confrontation. this thread is a good "check and balance" on the state of things.
just to put another perspective on this thread.
when a server starts out, its small so there are not alot of people. the rules are "soft" because how a server developes is through trial and error in most cases. As the server developes it gets bigger and more popular (like skyblock is now), it attracts more griefers. in order to prevent the server from being over run with griefers thus ruining the experience for players, the rules have to adapt to become what would seem "strict" but in reality they are a stong defense. More rules put a bigger strain on the mods who uphold these rules. I find it better to view them as a part of the game.
It takes effort to get banned. Im sure mods dont like banning players. But i would be devestated if my island, which i have put many hours into crafting, was bridged to, or found by flying griefers, and destroyed. So i see the "harshness" as a set of barriers protecting my hard work from others.

I think the Moderators are perfectly fine, but I disagree to some of the rules.Whenever I get on I usually say hello to everyone.I've gotten warnings because of saying Hi to many times.

Donors are very important to the community. They keep the server running and this is a wealthy server cause so much people buy ranks. And I just had to facepalm during this. Seriously, just live with it.

Rules are in a society for a reason. No one is above the rules. If the president of the united states went out and killed someone, he would be charged for murder. He would probably be forcibly removed from office aswell and jailed by the standards of the UCMJ seeing as he is a military officer. Just because you are a donator doesn't make you above the rules, nor does it mean the moderators should be more lenient. The rules are set in stone, if you can't follow them, very basic rules, then you don't deserve to play on the server. It's a mutual respect to the staff members on the server when you follow the rules and by breaking them you're basically pissing in their face and calling their p***s small (With the exception of Kaylee, your p***s is small anyways ). It's simple, do what your told, don't get in trouble.

Or you could be lighthearted and use the idea of that joke positively.
It's a strange way of looking at it, but some humor is meant to offend you, so you ponder why it offends you. Then you learn something from it.
