Hey reader You may know me from my recent thread about my lake; I have to confess I'm crazy :S I can't stop building! For a while now I've been thinking about buying isles so I took a look around my isle and from as far as I know now the owners of the isles at my right and left are both banned... This makes it impossible to buy them but also isles from banned players don't get reset! I learned this today from livvy but I think this is petty strange, why not? Maybe it's a really big administrative problem or something? CypriotMerks, Noobcrew, anyone, can someone please inform me what happens with these isles? I could just build on them if no one else can claim them but I kow that's griefing so yeah...Can you reset them or something? I really filled my isle, making it impossible to build much more on it... Well, hopefully something happens Keep up the dreams! -mavidwaer the pig tamer
Alright, you won't get more island space. Imagine being unbanned and finding your island built on. You are given a 100 by 100 area. It also wouldn't be fair to other players. If you want more space, build up or down
Cyp and D-Ninja have both told me a year. Back to the topic of the thread, im pretty sure that if you can confirm the inactivity of the player whose island you want to take over, you can go ahead and build on it. Of course, this is all at a risk because the player may come back, or the island may reset.
no, i went to the other island, placed 50 blocks, and then destroyed 49 of them. ii then made a rectangle around 200 by 100 blocks. i hope that that is not illegal.
i know, but i already had expanded past that point when i found out about the 49 block limit. i don't go into anyone else island space, and the islands around me look abandoned anyway.
There's a 99% chance that nothing is going to happen, just don't place anything valuable on the edge.
I want to take over an abandoned island. The chest is empty and it hasnt been touched since i started because the person left obviously because they lost everything. No gen, no nothing. But if i do build on it and claim it and the person happens to come back... i doubt it though, then im pretty sure im going to get griefed... again...by a neighbour xD
There's a possibility of sudden spawn of a new island in a gap between your 49-blocks limit and your neighbour's place. Exactly on a half of your current occupied area.
