Thats why I am trying to get Trial-Mod because there is a lack of mods at night and I am on a lot during day and night. so I hope I get it so I can help these people at night.
I also hate that, after that many days of inactivity on the server they should lose their rank as a mod and give it to someone else who wants to be a mod and that will actually be on to help people
The main reason that some people see staff more than others is due to time zones. You can't ask the Americans and Australians to all be on at the same time. Sure they can play together, but you can't expect them to always be on together. Also some of the mods time to be able to play is restricted, maybe school, work, family/relationships, ect. At times I agree, there could be more staff on, but I don't think there is a pulling need for more staff at the moment.
staff have their own life, understandable. And timezone difference? well thats usual for servers. But what happens is all the moderating is done by less than half of the staff, while the other half get to hold on to their jobs because they are not man enough to give up there powerful titles. As a player on for mere months i have noticed a huge rise in griefs during the lengthy period of hours and fed up potential donors lose faith that the fact the person responsible can do it again and not be dealt with straight away. That gap becomes the hotspot for offenders, too many to report, let alone one poor mod who probably is dead tired and needing to prepare for school or work. Its not right to expect the less than 20 active mods to do all the work. Not a need for more staff? i have one simple belief: on a server this big, with new players everyday, with many people in need, there is rarely a time when there are too many mods. And for what its worth, if inactive staff start getting demoted, which will probably happen soon, then net will fall to pieces without dedicated, passionate staff. Staff like goku, snoopy and mario should be promoted. kerahna to be supermod, and just forcefully demote inactive staff, asking them to mod app again when they are willing to become active. Even if there is a process, which there obviously is, its worth considering the best interest of the server, and that is to find capable active players and promoting them to mod
We'll said. Someone get Noobcrew or cyp here to have a look. I think that the mods who are inactive and step down are the best mods. They do what's right for the community even it means no longer being a mod
Few months ago I demoted a few inactive moderators and one of them was Kl3x, as soon as I demoted him as he never logged in like 4-5 months? He just comes online the next day and finds himself demoted and asks for his staff back. I even asked him "Are you even going to come back and play/help people?" he replied "Yes". Seems like he lied to me. Strange that when I demote an inactive staff they know about it the next day like they still play on a different account or someone tells them. I also remember few mods had a go at me for demoting inactive staffs e.g Kaylee she's been a staff for long time, always active & helpful and one day she just doesn't want to play anymore, if I demote her would you guys be happy or sad? I'm sure all of you would be sad because I would be to and this is why I don't demote inactive staffs anymore. If they decide to log in one day, i'm sure they still help out in-game. It's not end of the world, there's still over 100+ mod apps and more active moderators.
I hate when people do that, they are inactive for months and the day after you demote them they get on and demand their rank back. But you said what you needed to say very well
#blamegwism Anyways I agree with you and I'm practically inactive in game due to my internet being a ton o' poop but yeah we need some reaaalllyyyyy inactive people to be replaced.
The forums is just filled with reports, even more bad mod applications, and too many touchy/easily irritable people
Anyone who hasn't logged in-game for 30+ days should be demoted. If they complain and whine it shows how immature they are. Not to mention the fact that if they actually wanted to be a Mod they would have helped. If they still want mod after being gone for 30 days let them reapply.
