I have learned the rules since then and realized why it was illegal (being banned for over 6 months gives you time to think ) Why do you think you should be a mod? I am always helping people and sometimes I feel helpless during certain situations. For example I was not able to do anything during this episode Continuous sexually inappropriate comments | Skyblock Forums. I was also helpless for these Inappropriate Speech | Skyblock Forums, Inappropriate speech | Skyblock Forums I wish to make the server a better place while also helping people who ask for it (I have many other threads that I create, so you can search for all of the threads created by me). I hate it when people are calling out for help and I am helpless to do anything about it (besides reporting which eventually resolves the problem later instead of when it is happening). How long can you be active on the server everyday? Usually 3-5 hours a day during the week (Monday-Friday). Weekends could be 12+ hours or not at all Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes, I am a currently a network administrator, work in a custom service environment that services 14,000 people, and I write computer programs in my downtime. Through these three things I have been numerous situations where I had to moderator content. At one point this lead to a police investigation for illegal content. In addition, I work in a large customer service environment through which I learned how to talk to people in a professional manner and how to handle the ones that don't wish to do the same. I also moderate on another server. Through these past moderator and administrator positions I became very experienced in log block (from using the commands, to doing rollbacks, to setting up the SQL database (and server), any other functions of log block). I am also experienced in all of the essential commands that are utilized on net (and some other ones). I am very proficient with PermissionsEX and setting up permission groups (to include modifying the yml setting files) and using the commands . I am quite skilled with wraptastic, world edit, world guard and echo pet. Although these traits are most useful from a server admin side, they are also very beneficial from a moderating side. Education: Associate's degree in Information Systems Technology Certifications: CompTIA Security+ What I will contribute: If I became a moderator, I wouldn't just answer people's questions, mute a few players, request some rollbacks, and ban people. I would contribute much more than the common tasks of being a moderator. Instead I would address the current issues going on Skyblock with the other moderators (from my understanding there is a private mod/admin section in the forums or I could just do messages). I don't care to see a dramatic change, but I would like to address some things and see if it would be better off being done differently. Furthermore, I have some ideas for improving this server. There are numerous ideas that people come up with everyday to improve the overall experience of Skyblock. I seen some of them and wish to be put in a situation to fix them. Even if there is no fix action I will reply to their post letting them know why it can't be fixed. Some people might see this as taking the moderating job too seriously, but that is just what I would do. The bottom line of being a moderator/administrator of this server is to allow people to play on this server as well make them want to play here. I mean do you think Noobcrew wants his paying customers to be unhappy. I am invested in the forums. I know there is a statistical way of measuring your involvement in the forums, but I do not like to make small contributions (i.e quick funny replys, an agreement/disagreement [I just use the voting options], or quick content-lacking posts) when I am on this site. I understand this will inevitably hurt the statistics of my involvement, but I am more concerned with quality, not quantity. For example, I will only be credited for creating one thread for this guide I made (Monster Spawner Info | Skyblock Forums). However, this guide took more well over an hour to make. Furthermore, I do read a lot of the content on here, but I rarely post my own content because either someone already said what I wanted to say or I have no response for the thread. So hopefully this clears up my involvement with the forums and if you have any advice for improving my involvement please let me know
