I speak both Dutch and English fluently. I speak French good enough to communicate in French, same goes for German. I also know Latin and Ancient Greek, albeit that those two languages are pretty much useless.


Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?)
Banned due to lagg, "flying".

Why do you think you should be a mod?
Mostly because I feel like there are not enough moderators online at the time I play. In Europe. a lot of children get home somewhere around 4 o' clock. There are usually about 150 players online at the time, with just one, or sometimes even no moderators online at all. I am always online around these times so I would cover those times, in which the current mods probably work or are asleep.

I am not really "known" on this server, as in, barely anyone knows me. I tend to keep a low profile and carefully observe players. I usually know exactly what is going on and draw my conclusion to the best of my knowledge. I do not let others influence my final decision.

Like I said above, I do not know a lot of players on this server. This allows me to treat every player equally, and not make exceptions for friends etc. I will never pre-judge someone or punish him harsher for the same offense as someone else did, given that it is not a repeatable offense.

Another quality of mine, which one can see as either a bad or a good quality, is the fact that I like to banter every now and then. Of course I act serious when necessary, but sometimes I like to joke around. This does allow me to socialize with more ease, but sometimes, when I'm in a banter-ish mood, the line between rude and funny may become very thin. I know and admit that this is a bad quality of mine, but I am working on it and trying to make sure I draw a clear line.

I have been trusted on many, many islands. Never, EVER did it even come to my mind to grief/steal anything. I believe that makes me trustworthy. Whenever someone for example bought some items from me via tradeshop, and due to the current bugs they wouldn't get what they paid for, I wouldn't make a big deal about it and just give the buyer the items he was supposed to have.

Something else I'd like to mention is the fact that I am experienced. Both with being a moderator and with playing on this server. I joined Skyblock somewhere around the end of 2012, early 2013. I've had a break inbetween the years I've played, but I am still very familiair with the server.



How long can you be active on the server every day?
I usually play about 3 hours a day, on a schoolday. In the weekends it varies heavily, depending on what I have planned to do in the weekend. I am not sacrificing my real, social life over a game. Of course I will play whenever I find the time to do so, but I am not letting this game get in the way of my life. I hope you understand that.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Yes. In fact, I used to run my own server. It was one of the first servers to be updated to and be playable on 1.4.2, which gave me a large userbase. I had a solid 80/80 online everyday, untill I had to close the server due to real life problems. It was a free server, so I had no donator ranks which meant I had to fund this server from my own pockets.

I have been moderator on various servers, but none that are as big as the abovementioned or are noteworthy. Usually small servers with only 10 players online at a time.

Thanks for reading my mod application. I tried to write it to be pretty straightforward and clear. Any possible feedback is welcome! I know I am not really helping on the forums, but that is simply because I do not feel like "Has your question been answered, and can this thread be locked?" is going to help anyone. Will probably annoy more than it would help.

My original application was made a long time ago, but was completely forgetten about. I know that by "re-opening" my mod application I open myself to a lot of possible hate. I can handle that but please be constructive.

Yes, I know, but since my main language is Dutch, English isn't that easy for me... I wrote this all without Google Translate, but maybe it'll be better if I use it to improve my moderator application!

 

Only improve the "alot" to "a lot" and "wich" to "which" and it's perfect.

I know this post is a bit late XD, but bremdecoolste is probebly one of the most kind, intelligent, and funny people on the server, he was building the best and most detailed structure I have ever seen on Skyblock.net and he was around half way through and I asked him something and he just stopped what he was doing to come and help me and I just wished that there were more people on this server like him, so for that reason 1000000000% support dude GOOD LUCK!
