When you are at net spawn and when you type /near command it disconnects you from the server and gives you this message.
Yeah it does that, its not so much of a bug. There can be hundreds of people at spawn and when you do near its too much for the chat box to handle so you get kicked. Most people usually do not do near for this reason. And /near is pretty much useless there as well, being that there is just too many people it doesn't serve a purpose. Its mainly there to be used for private island purposes, to see if any visitors are lingering, ect.
