Dear admins, My account name is CRAZY4HOCKEY, and I was working on an island with die4us or so. We worked really hard on our island, and it's pretty big. We got to the nether and got a crap load of gold and had some precious items. We fought zombie pigman for gold. However, I tried to log on 6 months ago, and I was banned for... griefing? I assumed it was from the nether. In one situation, I was fighting pigmen with my friend, and we walked into a little bar-store thing. However, in an attempt to survive and save our precious gold items, I accidentally destroyed a glass block or two. when I made it back to my island, my battery was seriously low, so I logged off. The next day I was going to replace the glass, but I was perma-banned. Please give me a chance, since I really worked hard on the island, and the destruction wasn't intentional. 1. Server name (.net / .org): skyblock.net 2. In-game name: CRAZY4HOCKEY 3. Full exact Ban Message: greifing 4. Did you read the rules ? Yes 5. Why do YOU think you were banned? I accidentally destroyed some glass blocks fending off pigmen in the nether. 6. Why do you think you should be unbanned? I did not intentionally grief and was banned before I had a chance replace the glass blocks -CRAZY4HOCKEY
Follow the correct format. Complete this form (copy & paste it) to your appeal post. If you lie or don't follow this form, your appeal will not be considered. 1. Server name (.net / .org): 2. In-game name: 3. Full exact Ban Message: 4. Did you read the rules ? 5. Why do YOU think you were banned? 6. Why do you think you should be unbanned?
i highly doubt that it was from the nether, as with the way logblock works, we cant see who or what was done in the nether. therefore unless someone actually SAW you do it, they wouldnt have reported it as it was accidental, but only if your story is true. if it had been the nether thing that had gotten you banned, no mod in their right mind would ban you for that without looking into it further. therefore there must be more to this than meets they eye and we need to figure out who the banning mod is.
Yes I very appreciate it. I'm sorry for doing whatever I did in the first place to get banned. I think it was the nether incident. I promise to never go near any blocks that aren't mine with a pickaxe. Thanks for your understanding
Well this is unfair on this user's part because the banning mod did not sign his name at the end of that. What are we supposed to do in this case? Keep the user banned? Well of course. The mod that banned you isn't going to step forward so we should come up with a decision for this ban. In my opinion, he should remain banned for a period of 3 weeks then be unbanned. However if his name shows up in logblock OR another appeal is created about the same exact issue, a permanent ban without chance of appeal would be appropriate.
3 weeks is a tad to long in my personal opinions I feel as a week is a pretty decent time (starting from now).
If you do /seen hes been banned for 4+ months. He even says so in his appeal. So 3 weeks isnt anything compared to what hes been banned for
becuase logblock doesnt work in the nether and no mod in their right mind would ban someone permanently for two peices of glass there must be more to this than hes saying imo
We used to have nether for .net, and logblock files to go along with it. If it was around 4 months, the timing is mostly right.
There are many possibilities. What I'm saying is that I wouldn't run around breaking people's stuff (intentionally anyway) and this is skyblock, so it's a bit hard to grief... One thought: my partner who owns the island hasn't been seen by me for quite a long time. I had put lockettes on my chests to protect against a robbery, and I forgot what his exact username was. Maybe he (Die4US - I think) reported me. Just a suggestion.
