First of all, I just want to say thank you all for taking the time to read and criticize my moderator application. I appreciate all feedback, whether it is criticism or support, so please reply so I can change and update my application to make it more appealing. I know that there are many people who dream about being a moderator and it is unlikely that I will be one of the few chosen, but I hope you will take the time to view my application and consider me for a moderator position. So please enjoy:

How old are you? I am 13 years old (7th grade).

What timezone are you in? US Eastern Time (UTC-5:00).

What country do you live in? U.S.A (Massachusetts).

What languages do you speak? I speak English fluently and a little bit of French, German, Mandarin, Japanese, and Spanish (I will learn much more Spanish soon).

Have you ever been banned? (If yes, why?) I have been banned once about a year ago, although it was a complete mistake. If you need to know what happened, please comment below.

Why do you think you should be a mod? I think I should be a moderator because I have been helping people on the server since I joined and enjoy doing it more than anything else. Whether it's giving people information, helping griefed/scammed victims attract a mod's attention, directing people to the forums, etc, I've always been trying to help people out whenever I can. I feel that being a moderator can allow me to help the people of Skyblock even more than I already can. Sometimes when I am on the server I ask in the chat if people need help. Some people have told me that I am being dumb when I do this and think it is only to become a moderator, but it is not at all, I truly do want to help the skyblock community as much as possible. It is pretty effective in my opinion. Besides negative replies a lot of people usually request my help and I help them. It also decreases some spam because I see a lot of people spamming in the chat things like, "help help I was griefed help me plsssssss!!!!!", so all they need to do instead is just /msg me and I help them. I also have a lot of experience on the server. I have been on almost every day for (longer than) the past year. I'm always up to date on the latest updates and add-ons added to skyblock as well as Minecraft itself and have been playing the game since the beginning. I would never abuse my powers and only use the ban/kick/mute commands when absolutely necessary. I have truly devoted a lot of my time into this server. If I ever accidentally do something wrong, or purposely do something wrong without knowing it, I would always admit to it and take the blame. I know how annoying it is to be blamed for something that you didn't do, which is why I don't do it. If I see someone doing something wrong, I wouldn't just ban them on the spot (with the exception of extreme griefing/hacking), which is what some people think is the right (and most fun) thing to do. What I do first is kindly ask them to stop what they are doing. If that doesn't work then I will give them warnings (such as PMs, kicks, temporary mutes, and temp. bans) until it is obvious that they won't stop, THEN that's when I pull out the ban command. I won't go into too much detail about how much I really love the server because I believe it is self-explanatory, but I really do not want to see this server go down (well, clearly this server won't be going down any time soon, but you know what I mean). I will go as far as possible to help anyone who needs help and get rid of anyone who needs to learn a lesson!

What qualifications do you have? Only some of the qualifications I have are:

• I can type really fast. (I am taking typing lessons at school so I can go even faster)
• I have a great memory so I can hold a lot of information for long periods of time.
• I was given a brand new, extremely fast PC last month that has absolutely no lag.
• I usually have almost no homework (I use study hall time wisely) so I have tons of free time to be on the forums and the server to moderate.
• I know how to use all of the moderator commands.
• I never rage and have a lot of patience which can be useful in trying to help newer players.
• I have had straight A's and B's in school since they started giving actual grades in 3rd grade.
• I am a serious person and understand how much responsibility being a staff member on a server this big really is.
• I know how to give appropriate punishments at the appropriate times.
• I help people and enjoy doing it more than anything.
• I have made tons of friends on the server since the day I joined.
• I know all of the rules by heart.

How long can you be active on the server everyday? I can be active on the server just about every day. The following is my schedule:

My 7-Day Skyblock Schedule

Monday-Thursday: 2:40-6:00 PM est.

Friday: 2:40-11:00 PM est.

Saturday-Sunday: 11:00 AM-11:00 PM est.

^Note that the above information may vary mainly due to the fact that my brother uses my computer a lot (luckily he doesn't play Minecraft), holidays, vacations, meals, sports, school clubs, and any other things I need to do, so I am much busier than the schedule makes it look like.

How long have you been playing Skyblock.net? I have been playing on the server for far over a year (Probably about 18 months now but I am not exactly sure).

Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I have a lot of moderator experience on several other servers. I am a mod on one large server with a 200+ community, along with 2 other smaller servers. I am also an admin on a small server, and was co-owner of another developing server for a while, although it closed because the owner (my friend in real life) couldn't keep up with the server bills; but I think I was staff long enough to give me a lot of experience. (Just became an admin on another small server as of January 30th, 2014, and now on another server I just received a moderator position as of March 20th, 2014). UPDATE: I just retired from being a moderator on 2 servers to try and be more active on the server and forums (April 3rd).

In conclusion, I believe I can really help this server as being one of the few people that is chosen to become a moderator by doing whatever it takes to keep griefers off the streets and the server at the top!
