I never tried to stop them making apps, I just don't think that the first thing they should do on the forums is make one. I said they should have to wait a week, so they can learn something before they make an app. However I have already told you I have changed my stance on this opinion, as the guide tells you to become a member of the community before making an app, so there would be no need for a restriction. I also have put feedback on players apps (which they normally don't follow) rather than just "trash talking" them as you say I do.

Oh okay, it just sounded like you were peeved at them and thought they shouldn't be able to do that.
I think a lot of people make a forums account just to make an app, because that's one of the most important perks of it.

Yea, never thought of that... I just dont feel someone who has been a member of the forums for a short time has the knowledge needed to become a mod. The guide should help with that though. Also, instead of saying "suck" I should of said that they lack the detail to be considered a good mod app. So I apologise for saying that.

Well what if they played on the server for a long time, and just joined the forums? That's what happened to me. I think it's more important to have server experience than forums experience. Though I'm sure only a few people joined the forums a lot later after they joined the server

But is a week of forums experience too much to ask for? You could learn most of the forums stuff in a week, but a few days is, in my opinion, is not enough experience.

But that doesn't really matter, if we had the guide easily accessible new players would be able to figure it out for themselves.
