I have actually never figured out how to use back correctly; /back takes me to random places I've visited recently but never to where I last was. Can someone explain?
Using /jump will set your /back location to where you jumped from. So if you want to go back and forth between islands, use /jump, then /visit the island and then using /back will take you between these two places. you only have to use /jump once initially.
I’m unable to place tridents in item frames. Now that we can’t throw them, displaying them is the only thing they are good for. If we can’t even do that, then they are useless and should perhaps be removed from the legendary crates.
Hello, Crew! I wish the minecart limit were 10-20-30, as I noticed chest minecarts and furnace minecarts also count! I dont want to touch anything till you post your final limits after this test period but more hopper minecarts would be so helpful, as that way you can still use a combination of types of farms/grinders/sorters/shulkersorters/autocookers, etc. Since the TPS dropped to a low of 9 the following night anyways, I know many would appreciate a higher limit. If the limiting of minecarts to the extent you have (or even further limiting them) would be helpful to the server, could increasing the speed/rate that items pass through hoppers be implemented to assuage the load? I'm just wondering if simply increasing the hopper rate would lighten the TPS load more than limiting minecarts might. Profit shops have been a thing on eco since the reset. Since crophoppers, there were no more profit shops for the farm items that they collect, just for passive mob drops. Mainly pork, but even those died off because it wasnt a high profit/effort ratio. Now that we have hostile spawners I'm sure more profit shops will be made in future. If you want more active playing, /warp shop needs to be updated with blocks (cobble, stone, basic wool colors, netherrack, etc, and new blocks that we have had since the update like skulk, basalt, deepslate etc.) and new items (mangrove seeds, the warped mushrooms, the vines, etc). AFK shops popped up cuz after crophoppers, there were no more profit shops. New players *are* still getting the beginning experience! By giving us the limit of two accounts on eco per player, but giving us the ability to also make new free bedrock accounts, people have long term end goals to expand all their islands and make more farms to pay others to afk them while they are inactive, by splitting the profits. If you are saying it wasnt how you envisioned the game being played when one is starting out, know that eco is flourishing. You said you want more active playing and less afking for new players, but that would mean we need to be able to have a max of four accounts on at a time like survival players can, since profit shops cannot be fed with drops without someone afking them. That way we dont lose the money we have invested in our bedrock farms and new players will only be able to make money by using profit shops till they set up their own farms. Finally, I just want to say you guys are on the right track with trying to fix the TPS! I think if you figure out how to make things better with the limits you will implement and whatever other adjustments you need to make, you will have to increase the player limit for eco to 1000!! ~Jajane
We all know that tax calculations cause a fair lag spike. What server effort is required to keep track of every redstone pulse, piston action, hopper transfer, etc?? There's not been any noticeable improvement in TPS, so is the tracking of all this info and messaging everyone about it causing as much lag as it might be saving?? It used to be that staff would actually, show up at laggy chunks and speak to the players causing that lag.
This was the best server eight or so years ago. Cobble gens actually let you craft something more than a stone pick axe. Crophoppers didn't exist yet. It's like its the skyblock i remember from past. But not at all the skyblock i remember playing.
This update will not make much difference to the average. It is intended to stop large machines from making it worse for everyone else. Skyblock - Skyblock Updates - April 30th, 2025 | Skyblock Official Site
Cheers Matt. Hoping to see /back fixed before too long. One of my most used commands for getting around and between islands quickly.
But a 10-20-30 hopper limit would be more than nice.... posted a slightly more detailed reason why on sb changelog (mapart autosorting)
The update corrections suggest that no change has been made to the ore gen rate but it has drastically reduced. Can we get some info on this and update /gen accordingly.
Matt, since you guys made it so that moss will spread to ores, can you not give us our normal ore rates in stone gens back?
