For 12 (ish) hours between 13:40 yesterday and 01:40 today (and some at ~04:30 yesterday), I set up a bot to analyse chat.
This is based on 10182 chat messages (including automated messages, unscrambles, etc).

New players - during this time period, 115 users joined. The shortest username was a 5 way tie between mmy, ymm, ekh, 02_ and QMC. The longest username was a 3 way tie between kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, .LoudTiger255360 and BlackScorpion420.

The most active player in chat was xvsz at 536 messages, followed by SkyCloud at 353 and TheSonicNarwhal 339.

The most popular word* was i at 1174 uses, followed by a with 655 uses and you at 628 uses. There were 2220 words out of 4276 were only used once.

*a word was defined as anything that met this regex:

Does this include automated advertisements, or did it only count unique messages?

 

No unique checks, good idea though.
