    Punished account name:

    -RoudyPoudy

    Platform or server punished on:

    -Survival

    Ban message if applicable:

    - “ scamming, and lowballing new players “

    Have you read the rules?

-Yes, I have actually re-read the rules and after carefully doing so, I realized I missed part “B” in the scamming section.

Do you think this punishment was incorrect?

-I believe depending on how the way you look at it, it could go both ways.

    Why should you be unbanned?

    - The reason I am making this appeal today, is because I am hoping to get back on the server sooner than 14 days… I guess I can start with my point of view. Im assuming I was banned because of “lowballing” on the new /gift rewards. Because that’s the only trading I’ve really done with so called “new people”. Well, I know the somewhat value of the items. Other people may not know as well, but I wouldn’t say I ever “scammed” anyone. The trades I did make, I asked them what they would like for the item, and whenever they gave me a price they would like, and I took them up on the price they wanted for it. Now, I understand they may not have known the value, but I’m not too sure as to how that results in being my fault. I myself have bought items for way more than the actual value since I’ve been playing again, And I just had to live and learn from my mistakes. Now that I have re-read the rules, and figured out that you can’t “lowball” people. I will refrain from doing so, as I don’t want to cause any problems on the server.

Please list any other times you were punished on Skyblock:

-I’ve been banned on classic before, and that was years ago. My memory is foggy. I have never been banned on the new skyblock.

If you know, tag the staff member that banned you:

    Oakk

Do you understand and accept our rules and code of conduct?
-Yes I do, after carefully reading through the rules again I have had a chance to acknowledge the mistake I may have made, and it will not happen again.

    -With kind regards, peezy.

    Hey Peezy,

thanks for making an appeal. I’m glad that you’ve realised your mistake. However, you mention that you did not scam the players as they were offering the trade. First off, that was not the case for all of the trades. Additionally, it is still your responsibility to inform the new players that the /gift is worth more than a diamond pickaxe and couple of grass.

The rules state that scamming includes lowballing, this also includes you being more responsible and not accepting those kind of offers from new players.

    Kind regards,
    Oak

It is in my deepest apologies for the rules I have broke. Next time I’ll make sure to be a bit more informative about the items people are receiving and their value. I would like to touch up on the rules, as I’ve stated I went back through after this ban, carefully re-read the rules again, and I realized my actions fell under “b” in the scamming section.
